survivor NTU cum rants: A week of work then fri comes..

Sunday morning, woke up with aches all over after the really gd tkd training yest night...smth which i havent been feeling for quite a while..haha..only woke up with hunger pangs for the last few weeks.. then again..after lunch at the noodle store near my house, celest went back to nanjing and tt more or less ended the weekend..slacked at home and ate like a pig, well ate like an even greedier pig compared to sat, for the rest of sun..

of cuz..sun passed quickly and then came mon, gg to work with an aching hamstring..with a full blast of monday blues.. Zhang Yan(the person my supervisor arrowed to arrow me work to do...i have no one under me to arrow so i end up taking the full quiver of arrows...) arrowe--er i mean tasked me to do a vb program under her tt will totally own and pwn most current programs used in corning to detect defects when completed.. However, big prob..she gave me an almost bare program with only a few functions and want me to include lots of functions including drawing charts, blanking out non-defects and jus falling short of making coffee for the user.. then she jus smiled an evil "glhf u noob" smile b4 leaving me alone to do the program with my partner...well..we'll see how it goes..

obviously tt didnt go well with the monday blues..coupled with this..it entirely completes the "monday sux la" day..

oh yea..the "You name it, I horn it" bus which i missed cuz it was too full of ppl..tts how fierce they squeeze up the bus..if ur eyes are sharp enough u can see lots of ppl sardined thru the window as well... somehow..they'll survive the ride..somehow..without anyone spasming i hope..

Week was draggy enough..but then again..Friday still came!! haha.. went to sch to watch a show called 大碗, the movie im supposed to crap abt during next fri's lesson. Well its a pretty gd show..even though smths i dun 'get' the jokes and all..but still..somehow i have to crap smth out next fri in chi!! gg man..totally gg.. at least watching the movie made 郭老师's lesson go by faster..

then after sch, we went to---WE INTERRUPT THIS BLOG POST WITH AN IMPT NEWS FLASH!!!!!!!--- ON MONDAY 25TH AUG 2008, RAIN WAS SEEN THOUGHOUT SHANGHAI AND FLOODED MOST OF THE AREAS IN SHANGHAI KNOWN TO MAN AND TO CHINAMAN!!

WE HAVE AN EXCLUSIVE INTERVIEW WITH THE MINISTER OF LAMENESS.. HERE'S WHAT HE HAS TO SAY!!!

My fellow Singaporeans stuck in china, today is independance day..er no wrong..today..is the day..that it rained like never before. So fierce was the rain that it was flooded up to almost knee level everywhere..We blame global warming and the cutting down of trees and the absence of captain planet for this rain... Then again, we shld.......oh wait..there's a note..from..Mother Nature herself??

Ok here's what the letter reads....

ok..that concluded the end of the letter...but no matter..we shall start to global warm less by..erm..be environmentally friendly!! for greater justice!

--THAT ENDS THE IMPT NEWS FLASH..BACK TO CHINAMAN BLOG!!--

have lunch at a nearby restaurant called Joyful.wanted to go babela at 1st but then again..we saw joyful's menu and decided to give it a try...well had the chicken with cheese on its skin... which sorts of forces u to eat chicken skin..nt bad even though chicken was salty..

then went to raffles city(yes there's a raffles city in china..at 人民广场) with celest and shar ni and walked ard...shar ni stayed behind at one of the shops to shop for clothes..meanwhile..celest and i went on to walk ard raffles city.. got a grape sundae from kfc at ground floor and started to explore raffles city..which..i conclude..is almost the same as raffles city in sg..hahah..then..on the 5th floor..we saw..bakerzin..ok..tts nt the gd part..the gd part is..their soufflett(i know cfm spell wrong but when u see it u know what it is..) is only 10rmb..or S$2!!!! celest and i were instandly OMG-ed..we couldnt miss out this opportunity..so the 2 of us went to have the soufflett..even though our grape sundae is still digesting..

walked ard abit more in raffles city b4 gg to 陆家觜again to shop..+try to look for the last remaining yaohan..but..we got wrong info from the paper tt celest's printed..so..we decided to jus stick to super brand mall and shop..some pics at 陆家觜..

took a pic of the current tallest building in the world..the one with the square hole..

earlier last week celest saw a portugese and hk style restaurant which was v popular(and crowded)..so we decided to have dinner there too...and as u guessed..its super crowded..celest and i still have to wait 10+mins b4 we can get seats and order...ill let the pics speak for itself...
