well dec 25th was like any other dec 25th during the yrs in the BC.. we go to emo god's house, have lots of wonderful food prepared by BC members and emo god's family alike, ridicule at how vic is getting pwned effortlessly by zy's younger sis and stay overnight mostly dotaing heavily and renewing all the emo vows for the yrs to come..

this yr however was a strange and very much different christmas...nono we still had turkey, ham, ribs, salad, potatoes, log cakes and the usual christmas food and ridicule at how vic is getting pwned effortlessly by zy's younger sis aka emo princess. it was the events during the annual BC christmas party at emo god's emo abode. yes!! 1stly..well ok not really surprising, this time we didnt leave any food for gz. gz our pcc/afk king(his official title now) is so late tt it caused zy to rage-eat everything..ok not excatly zy only la, we chipped in in eating all the food and log cake.bascially instead of leaving anything for gz we totally left nth besides the half destroyed turkey carcass tt was once gd food.

previous yrs we left some kinda scraps for his usual lateness but zy increasing the nearing infinite limit of emoism an emo god of his calibre could have told us to rage-eat everything and leave nth behind. furthermore he threatened to lock pcc/afk king out for an hr as punishment.lucky zy didnt lock gz out.. of cuz gz doesnt feel SHAMEFUL cuz of being late for over 3hrs, he has other reasons...

well 2nd strange thing to happen is tt hx is one of the last few to slp! GASP! i know what u're thinking..

YES dear readers, hx was one of the last few BC members to slp for the outing. previous recent outings, when hx was replaced by a mere shell of an alien who hardly curses and is just 1% as violent as the original, tt alien hx couldnt adapt well to earth day night cycle and thus his body will start shutting down to extremely f#$&*ing heavily slp once the time hits 10pm.so during most outing hx will plop on the bed and fall into deep slp at 10pm. if there's no bed hx's body will auto fall into deep slp while continuing the last task, be it dotaing, sc2ing or pinching cm. BUT this time round during the gathering 3 days ago, hx slept at 6am.. GASP ONCE AGAIN!!

3rd. there was no overnight dota!!!
yes no dota..zy's router emo-ed and b4 we even reached zy's house it self didnt work.(it then un-emoed and become ok on 26th dec). so there was no usual overnight dota, though the renewal of another emo yr still goes on even without dota.

well tt is just abt the differences btw this yr's annual BC christmas party and the previous yrs. then again since zy's router emo-ed on him and refused to work OT for christmas us BC members played monopoly deal(we had lots of fun stealing each other's land and watching purple clouds fume over zy) and taboo(a word game tt surprisingly et3000 doesnt suck at)

let me explain taboo's rules for obvious reasons u'll see in this post later on. taboo is a word game with rule

1)each players are divided into grps(for us grps of 3:hx et3000 and me in a grp,yh vic and gz in another)

2) a player will then have a stack of cards with 1 word on top, and 5 taboo words below on them. the objective is for a player to describe the word on top without the use of the taboo words(usually the 1st few things tt comes to mind associating with the mystery word players are to guess). opposite team players will be the judge to make sure the player describing the words doesnt use the taboo words

3) each player has 1 min to describe and let their team members guess the word he is trying to describe. then after tt it swaps over to the other team. well we divided the whole card stack and played ard total 6 rounds(every player gets to describe 6 times total)

of cuz not having to use the obvious(taboo) words this leads to interesting descriptions like using dota(jugg) to describe "spinning", mass effect 2 to describe..er..smth, jay chou songs for "coral"(unfortunately no one got it since vic and yh nv listen to much jay chou) which are among the many interesting descriptions tt i can rmb..

well so us BC was happily playing this pretty fun game at ard 5am then.. it was gz's turn to he described a bunch of words and then at the last prob ard 20s or so he got a card, and suddenly gz, the pcc/afk king's description of the word was

"When I PCC, I feel __________"

PCC= wank, jerk off( for all u non sgeans. anw we theorise tt when gz afks, which is damn f$^&ing often, he PCCs. if not how else will he afk so often and so long without a gf unlike darth emo)

vic's and yh's(and prob the average person) guessed words like "orgasmic", "shiok", "feel good".

and the word gz descibed was...

SHAMEFUL

ya man..i have no idea(the rest of the BC as well) gz feels shameful after his usual wank when he afks. then after giving the wtf looks we all bursted out laughing,uncontrollably.

gz was like "u all dont feel shameful when u pcc meh"

universal answer from BC:"err...no?"

if its true gz must be feeling shameful every single freakin hr.. that man needs a psychiatrist..FAST..else i can totally see this in the near future...

well to be really really honest i forgot abt my blog! hahahah... i wanted to blog in between gsl season 3 but then i was really tied down with work and going home to watch gsl is my only means of staying sane..hahah..

well abt gsl season 3 its over! lol..what yh said is true anw..all the better players are somehow losing..including season 2's winner nestea, season 2's runner up marineking.prime and season 1's winner fruitdealer. dont even mention abt season 1's runner up st_rainbow.. he lost in the round of 64.pretty disappointing season for rainbow if u ask me. end up 2 relatively unknown players(till then) reached the finals.. tsl_rain and ogs.mc. of cuz everyone who's closely following the gsl knows tt mc is gg to eat rain alive and yes this time there were no upsets. mc did win. though his victory speech was so cocky think everyone wants a piece of him next tourney..

at least its not bitbybit.prime who won the tourney. his cheesy all-in strat(or he thinks scvs are mean killing machines) brought him to the round of 32(he lost to FD, FD's too clever to get pwned by such cheese tactics) where i think ppl like tsl_clide or nada are so much better than him. tough luck for clide meeting leenock(and losing, though round 3 was an epic 50min back and forth game) and nada getting pwned by jsl_zenith.

then again like yh said..et3000 shld apply!! after all even with his apm of 10 and extreme reaction with a speed of a snail he still can win as long as he spreads his noobness to everyone else!! lol..(btw for the unsure, gsl = global starcraft league. anyone and everyone with/without a clan can apply. all u need is to be in s.korea and fight thru a freaking ton of other pro gaming hopefuls to qualify for the round of 64 and be on tv. and oh along the way hope u dont meet any legends.haha)

well centainly we were pretty spared from et3000's great skill during nov and dec where i think he went on a backpacking trip. but when he was back ivan zy jx and i had a game with him. and boy i was praying so hard tt there's no emosim man..come on..if jx turned on his mnp mode(ie chui mode) like his thd earlier and with et3000...its like er.. well trying to stop time..LUCKILY..LUCKILY, jx x was pretty mvp like, ivan,myself and zy farmed well, then again it helped tt 4 out of 5 of our opponent are edlings.. ed was still et3000,no change... he was at 1 point 0-5 with sniper..then 2-8.then after 3 kses he was 5-8. and he went manta 1st with him saying "if i manta i fat". et3000's end game items were manta, threads, mask. well..its ed. ed stones in forest so many times..i highly suspect ed taught freestyler tt stoning helps gain extra experience or smth

anw on the 7th of dec a few of us went to see veron's dancing concert. wa i tell u veron dance zai sia! its totally different from the veron we knew during tkd.. she was dancing real gd without much stage fright or nervousness... v v cool..hahaha.. next time veron can be lead dancer liao..or tts our goal to veron..muahah...anw even chang got spotted to do break dancing..wonder whether he went to their training grounds..haha

of cuz the soon to be lead dancer veron is in the center..haha

anw on 20th dec i went for my medical checkup for my leg and its healed alr! ok barely..i saw the x rays and the bone looks joined up, but a tad bit weak still(as the doc pointed out) but well i can walk alr without those robocop legs! yea baby!! hahahah..finally! walking normally really feels gddddd..lol

oh im on mc today..muahahha..hence my early blog..well yest i had op to remove the metal from my hand..so im not wolverine anymore..just a regular guy.haha..then again during the GA(general anethesia, ie slping during the op) i dreamt. i nv tot i was capable of tt cuz durnig the previous op i didnt dream, and i tot GA is more like a "knockout punch" by the drugs rather than a "force slp" but i dreamt!!

i dreamt tt i was running up stairs fighting baddies, armed baddies all over.. alot like the karate gi guy below..
then my dream self shouted tt "im coming to save u!!" then after defeating all the baddies and running to the top of the stairs i saw the boss...a scarred guy with an eyepatch

then after tt i woke up..feeling dizzy and stuff,aftereffects of GA, on the hospital bed. and the nurses were laughing and saying i was thrashing ard during the rest time after the op, and my elbow hit a cupboard or smth. sure enough..there were red bump marks on my left elbow. so i was unconsciously thrashing ard(fighting baddies) during my GA. thankfully its after the op..if not i hit the doc then i gg liao..he anyhow operate on me..lol.. and luckily i didnt shout like my dream self did..otherwise it would be even more embarassing..didnt tell the nurses i dreamt though..too paiseh..lol

ok la i was reading kenichi b4 i left for the op. my brain prob got some inspiration from there...

i nv got to know who i was rescuing though... i do wish it was a girl =P

then again with et3000 leaving aegis and suiciding into illusions anything can truely happen. apology to all slayersboxer's fangirls.

NEWSFLASH: "unknown player et3000 qualifies for gsl season 3 with win over slayersboxer"

apparently nth is known abt this new player et3000 besides most ppl's initial and instinctive reaction of calling him noob.however even with delayed reaction and a apm of 10 he beat slayersboxer when get this..slayersboxer massed medievacs against 10 of et3000's marines at the 20min mark. and that was all the army et3000 had at 20mins, 10 marines...

2nd game sees slayersboxer forgetting to build scvs and again et3000 killed him while slayersboxer just got his 1st rax out at the 15min mark.et3000's entire army only consists of 5marines and 1 tank. somehow after this match weird this happens to other pro players.they start massing really really wrong units against each other..

mass corruptors against roaches, siege tanks against mutas(tt one loner did it in gsl2..infected by eddism alr), scv rushes, and proxy pylons..and i mean plyons only..u name the noob play, et3000 does it..or so he infects the player and the player(who is then referred to as a noobling from then on) does the noob play for et3000..

will et3000 win gsl season 3? only time will tell..but one thing's for sure..everyone will be infected by eddism....

but still nada not qualifying for gsl season 3..tt news is as shocking as saying like...zy doesnt emo when he loses...

gsl season 2 has ended and the winner is *SPOILER ALERT* nestea!! great zerg player..congrats to him! though i tot foxer has a pretty gd chance..i think he just went overly agressive and screwed up esp at the final game 7 when nestea zerglings got a surround at foxer's early marine scv rush.. foxer was so freakin far behind tt it was all in, but nestea kept getting lings and soon it was just lings running rampant in foxer's base. prob foxer was in a shock and daze and lings were just decimating scvs, mules, buildings and foxer only had a lone scv mining..after tt it was GG and there..winner of gsl season 2..nestea. and tts coming back from a 2-0 hole, amazing play there.(heck emo god was so surprised tt nestea can win after losing 2 games.. take tt emo god!! hahaha.. coming from behind wins isnt impossible so u dont have to f10 e q whenver we 4v5 or our 1st rax is down)

talking abt emo god..he emo-ed during the bc outing a few weeks ago during the deepavali holiday..lol.. cuz gz was beating his ass on naruto ninja storm 3 for ps3 or whatever tt naruto game was called. either way then hx was alr snoring behind, gz and zy battled for supremacy in naruto. gz beat zy a few times which made him emo until he even denied vic of playing his own ps3 game. and we were still telling gz to like lose to zy la! so we can start dotaing...end up we watched a "minato vs itachi" match for 2hrs cuz zy oso refused to let gz change characters. I swear I can rmb all of minato's and itachi's animation after tt

actually mayb a blessing in disguise.. cuz et3000 wanted to dota then..lol

like yh put it "watching et3000 play dota is like watching a horror movie

its alr bad tt well...its et3000 playing..how much worse can he get for leaving aegises and cheese behind for opponents.. nooooo..it just got worse.. et3000 is CHOOSING TECHIES... tt can be made into a 1.5h horror movie by itself... ET3000 CHOOSING TECHIES!! then even worse..teaming up with him..can see he hardly ever plants mines.. man..75% of the time we tell him "ed plant more mines leh".. well worse of all he suicded into a veno illusion once... the pain and horror i tell u.. thank the stars and Gods zy didnt emo quit at the very moment ed suicided into a veno illu. all he managed was a ''gj". the rest of has a a moment of silence in horror for abt 5mins. of cuz et3000 managed a ":)"

last night game ed was planting better mines..but relying too heavily on suicide. the epic best was when he suicided into x and loa.both tanks with high hp. wtf..but there was one game ed got wicked sick with his tech.but its definately rigged..potm is ed's noobling and ed planted potm there so he can suicide and mine her for all eternity..ok not all eternity just all game long..u know nooblings..they just do anything for their nooblord et3000.

oh yea im using one of these boots for walking now, its called walker boots. its alright.. comfortable enough but enables me to walk..ok my boots is white and prob not as huge as the one in the pic..tts just an example! hahaha
oh yea.. i finally got promoted to silver league in 1v1!!!! tt sounds so noob but hey..after being stuck in bronze league for ages..i started to understand the game abit and well...won quite alot of games and suddenly..i got promoted!! then again all teh games i play now feels much much harder. i just cant spam MM..definately more drops, better players who FE and really lock u down. oh well..getting used to it..hahaha

oh yea rmb to build those carriers!!!

have been massively chionging sc2 these days..usually it means for weekedays rush home to watch gsl season 2, which is getting more epic, and after tt dota/sc2..for weekends is as just like what ivan's fb event says "hardcore sc2 gaming".. hahah.

well if anyone, or any sc2 fan hasnt been following the gsl then well..actually most ppl would have known now... the last gsl's champ, fruitdealer...has been eliminated!! *GASP!! and he was pwned by "fake" boxer. now this guy isnt the real boxer... or i mean he jus used boxer's nick and entered gsl season 2.. he's a very agressive player as from what i seen in his last few vids, usually v quick 2 rax pump out units and start the aggression. which is what he did to fruitdealer(FD)... twice...

the 1st time fake boxer did an early aggression to FD he caught him offguard.. the 2nd time though i just tot FD didnt play to the best of his abilities.. he did a baneling drop on boxer's troops but it was kinda too little too late.. FD was seriously behind then and well he didnt gg immediately, he sent out drones and all to put up a final fight then gg.. sad ending for the previous champ of gsl. but well tt means now there will be a new champ!

there's a lone player from china in the gsl(aptly named as loner) who is pretty gd.. but there was one real noobish, prob unintended, play by loner..loner sent siege tanks to defend against enemy mutas attacking his base!! *GASP! haha..i think it was a misclick cuz there's no way such a high calibre player would do tt..but hey..loner did it and vic was saying et3000 has invaded korea..

nooooooooooooo!!! could we see more of such noobish play.. has eddism reached sc2 so quickly?!?!? will the emporer send his marauders against void rays due to eddism?!?! =(((((

but well later on loner had the suayness to meet the emporer himself, got outplayed and was eliminated. currently right now..is the round of 8, which will start tml.. and man tues is nada vs the emporer.. woooooo... epic epic epic match i tell u.. im gg to pk early from work jus to catch this matchup!! haha

there's only 1 sole protoss left in the round of 8(nexgenius) and he's going against the runner up last gsl, hopetorture.. man i wish nexgenius would advanced jus so there's a protoss play and diversity still left in the final rounds.. else it would be like TvZs or the epically boring ZvZ(sry i mean tts just my opinion..so far all the ZvZ ive seen is like baneling-ing each other..or in idra's case, getting swarmed by roaches)

this week is a short week! fri holiday!! woohoooo... and next mon i got med appt! so im having kinda like a half day mc. i really hope i can like walk then...really im so craving for so many things alr.. bubble tea, kfc, mos, ji pa, omg all the unhealthy food la cuz i basically have none at home..hahaha

and yest was the k tigers performance..man i missed it..argh!!!! i hope someone somewhere records it somehow so i can get to watch..haha..and besides tt i hope they come back next yr so i can catch them live..haha

well guess what.. im blogging at work!!! lol... alright alright nt in front of bosses of cuz..they all went for lunch alr.. so did my colleagues who are all v nice in helping me buy lunch back everday,even though its more or less the usual chai fan or vege chai fan but hey i wont complain..they're helping me out so i no no need to physcally crutch to the lunch area.. which is quite near but full of up/down slopes and stairs. killers for those ppl like me on crutches temporarily. i hate going up stairs espically... somehow it jus drains alot of my energy..hahaha

well it wont be fully an sc2 blog..i'll still blog abt other stuff i think of..u know..when i got the inspiration..lol...

anw to reiterate a pt i brought up at the chatbar to SH.. apparantly the emporer himself, the legendary BoxeR, has came back to the starcraft scene, now playing sc2 since the prize money is so much more compared to brood war(so i heard from a commentator in youtube). but this time... well apparently according to some commentators and a website ive found( link here), the emporer has changed his name to "ManofOneWay" in sc2. though..though... in the GSL season league 2 there's a supposed 'fake' BoxeR and the 'real' one(ManofOneWay). guess we'll see who's the real emporer himself in the days to come.

well now for some of the cool pro replays..

too bad i dont think i can find the replay of game 1 of TLO vs OGS.hyperdub on GSL1 on youtube. its on GOMtv.net so go check it out, registration is free but to catch set 2 onwards u need to pay. that match is seriously epic i tell u. TLO came back from a situation tt was almost "un-comebackable". TLO was earlier harrassed by a proxy starport banshee, no gold expo(OGS.hyberdub alr mining his gold then), TLO's hellion harrass failiing, only a couple of thors,siege and hellions left vs a huge bunch of vikings, siege and later thors. if it was czy1985 controlling TLO's army he instantly would gg right away once hyberdub started the contain. TLO fought on, captialising on hyperdub's mistake of overextending his army and an extremely brilliant usage of nukes mainly for instilling fear, forcing wasted scans and to even nuking a reinforcement route tt hyberhub uses so he cannot reinforce an expansion tt was then being attacked by TLO. extremely brilliant play i would say(i love mind games in an rts.its shows tt the player its not jus a I-MASS-A-GAZILLION-UNITS-TO-PWN-JOOOO player, but reading his opponents mindset and manipluating it to his advantage). TLO of cuz took game 1..epic epic game...

so here's one pro replay i liked

fruit dealer(the winner of gsl1) vs ogs.thestc. both players v gd, fruit dealer shrugging off all the harass and drops of ogs.thestc. but a great great mindgame by ogs.thestc. well u go watch it...

great nuke..need i say more..=P

toss's forcefield and building placement is jus so good in this game.. and did i jus say his forcefield is really gd?

GSL2 is starting TODAY!! actually i caught most of the game save makaprime's game 3 when he nuked his owned army at the end when his opponent gg(its so call bad manners to do so by the commantators..tsk tsk) and also missing out on game 1 of OGS.inca vs Aya. but the emporer..SlayersBoxeR is back in action. and what a treat we've got when he shows us his epic micro within the 1st 5mins.. 3marines and an scv storming into the enemy base and killing off enemy marines+scvs..epic games not to be missed!

still moer games coming up this week.. too bad ill miss TLO's game which is tml afternoon at prob ard 3-330pm...sad still working..=(((

terrans are so OP, even their soundtracks are OP

well i jus changed the sidebar music to terran soundtracks in sc2.. imo these tracks are jus OP(overpowered).. the same word alot of ppl use to complain abt terran in youtube and forums. well i dunno.. mayb cuz i still feel im at best and average player in sc and never experienced so much "cheese" or expert players tt can abuse units to the max but i highly doubt terran are that OP. tanks are gd and all but they are so many counters to it, much like protoss colossi which rips all light infantry apart but jus can get hit by pretty much anything..even purely AA units can hit teh colossi cuz its jus so big...

well i play 'random' in bnet so yea..i get a feel of all the races. however i do agree on one thing.. zerg is underpowered(or mayb i jus nv use it to the calibre tt fruit dealer does,then again..will anyone ever use them to their full power like fruit dealer?)..

but hey..terrans are still my fav race.. haha..i used to said out loud "THOR IS 'ERE" in tt crappy accent of mine mimicing the game unit when i build them.. thankfully no one was at time then(when i was on mc for 7 days..i dare nt scream out THOR IS 'ERE when my bro is ard..he'll bash me)

well i do watch pro vs pro vids online and do try out their tactics and build orders(sometimes to horrible conclusions but hey thats what experimenets are for right?)think so far the one i had the most success was the hellion drop that jinro did on boxer on one of the games.. as shown in this vid at ard 5:15

now opening is stanard, 10 rax, 12 refinary, tech lab on rax, fact, swap fact with tech lab, starport, 4x hellions with infernal preignitor upg(+10 dmg to light units, workers are considered light units, a total 24dmg by hellions to all light units), medievac and drop the hellions to the unsuspecting enemy. boy i tried that a few times. success! esp to those who neglect to protect their worker line. best i had was i massacred this guy's 27 probes. i checked replay and he only had 4 probes left the 1st time. 2nd drop i did with the same grp of hellions(they all got picked off later on) and i killed another 17 probes with only 10 probes left in my enemy's expansion.tt harras brought him back so far, he nv recovered. i had thors, marines, marauders storming his base and he only has a measly grp of stalkers and 1 void ray. pretty neat... and cuz hellions are very unpopular in multiplayer its at times unsuspecting for the enemy..haha

alright.. anw today i went to have my checkup for my fractured foot..and of cuz the k wire removal. k wire stands for Kirschner wire and it looks like...

yup its tts small.. and the hook was sticking out of the sole of my foot. anw today was the removal of the k wire so well the doc used a plier, twisted the wire ard 3 rounds and jus..yank it out.. u prob might think "OUCH OMGWTFBBQ OUCH TT SERIOUSLY HURTS". well.. sry to disappoint(or not) tt its a really painless process. jus abit of pressure feeling..abit like if u rmb when u were a child plucking out a tooth after anesthatics(sry i cant spell) . tt kinda 'pressure' feeling. injection hurts way way more than k wire removal..haha..

but anw the main thing is i still cant walk.. =((((.. well of cuz tt means endless dota, sc2 and movies watching on my lappy during the weekend but still..=((((.. man im sooo craving for junk food and bubble tea now..hahhaha

okok i kinda lied abit..thurs night i was sc2ing(i think) the whole night online and actually i wanted to blog at work..but then again i was kinda caught up at work to blog..really getting busy now..i'm doing proj and suddenly another is thrown to me, and another, and taking over another..arghhhh..man tt really sucks at times..and i think there's worse to come u know...sianz...

well bad news or gd news 1st? i guess mayb bad news 1st..as some of you might or might nt have known i went for the tkd nationals on 12oct. and...apparently the opponent is one of my friends from the club.. during the match his right leg and my left leg clashed..and ended up i fractured my 5th metatarsal...or tt same bone david beckham fractured in 2002.

yea..it was pretty bad.. the bone was displaced and i had to be hospitalised and went for op again..yes i know i know..barely a yr since i became wolverine and now i'm ironman with the metal in the leg. fortunately the stuff in my leg are wires which are sticking out and so i heard the doc will pull them out..and i shld be slowly going back to normal.. well during the time i was hospitalied i really wanna thank all those ppl who came down and those tt gather ppl to come visit me..it was really really touching. must really thank all of them, esp those who stays really far away to take their time off to visit me in hospital. oh nt only tt..oso visit me when im at home after i was discharged on wed too..hahha

Darth emo and xl gave me a hello kitty balloon! or smth close to tt..i still have it but its deflated and look kinda "lifeless" at my computer desk..i prob wont throw it away though..hahaha.

actually of cuz it does suck getting this really mafan injury. im on clutches now and even walking to the toliet brings some kinda difficult esp when the floor is wet.. but well its an accident and im ok with my friend causing me tt injury. however..im nt tt happy with the way he handles the whole thing i guess.doesnt matter anw..nt really tt close to him oso. no big loss..

well so i was at home for excatly 9 days.. and gd things b4 that..i bought..SC2! oh yea..i ok didnt speed thru the campaign.i took my time and played all the missions possible and even online play after tt. my lappy's running on low but when i (illegally now) use my bro's com to play on ultra setting. its gorgeous really...on ultra the graphics is sooooo gd... my eyes now hurt when i play low. hahaa.. and really smths u'll jus send units to death on ultra display(which is y my unit lost is among the highest.. ok tt and including my poor micro) jus to see them explode or fall off, roll down ramps etc etc.

well so back to the main topic. yes folks. et3000 is back in full power in dota. spawning nooblings all over. we used to nt want et3000 in our team. i mean this still holds a little bit. but when et3000 joins our team, he will implant nooblings in the opposing team. and boy those nooblings obey their master's command to the last word. they're so bad they make et3000 seem decent(whisper the name freestyler to zy and he will instantly emo. the fact tt zy wants to play with et3000 over fresstyler speaks v much for itself). just to let their master win games and get a decent k/d score. i mean of cuz there are times when still nooblings didnt make it in time to join the opposing team and of cuz with et3000 its a really freaking uphill battle to win but still the amt of nooblings all ard is jus..astounding..haha

now we're jus hoping tt et3000 dun get sc2.. i mean there's alr a ton of nooblings in sc2, we just dun need more. i always rmb 2 of the best games i had with nooblings. one of them i scouted with my scv..i saw enemy massing void rays(protoss air ships tt deals more and more dmg the longer they focus on their targets). and so i told my ally "build AA(anti-air) i see voids". my ally f$^&ing massed zealots(protoss basic unit, melee, CANT attack air). wtf..i so so stunned and cant believe my eyes when the enemy sent like 15 or so voids to his base and massacred his entire army and probes.

2nd game with a noobling ally in sc2 was when i was rushed by 2 enemies. i was calling for help from my ally cuz i cant hold longer. my ally said he has no minerals to buy army. BUT... the next thing i saw my ally did was went to his natural(nearest mineral field to his main base) and f$^&ing expand(tt cost at least 400minerals to do, which can afford quite abit of forces). WTF. of cuz all my forces got killed. i sneaked out a few scvs but cant be bothered to carry on and i quit.haha

oh yea mooncake festival(i know i know its called mid autumn festival..but mooncake festival sounsd so much cooler) jus went by last week. and a bunch of great friends came to my place to celebrate! really niec of them too esp since it was supposed to be in sch but due to my injured leg they changed it to my house..hahah...totally lit up the entire wed night.

my next appt is like next mon. i hope the wires are taken out and well...mayb i can walk? i dunno. i rmb the doc saying a mth then i can walk. but ms pro took 2 mths or so. well im expecting 2mths later then i can walk. but we shall see.. hope for the best..haha

well EEE had a grad night a while ago called spectrum... i was part of the organising committee.. had work to do in the grad night itself.. but i had lots of fun nonetheless.. jus regret nt camwhoring at all! hahaha.. i left my camera in my bag which was in the hotel room!! =(((( but well i koped pics from everyone everywhere.. hahaha

really had a blast that night! hope it could have lasted longer though..lol... and a really great and friendly emcee too! see whether u can spot him in the pics.. =P

1stly ill start of with yog tkd. i've been watching some of the matches, or as many as in possibly can,replays and live matches, from sun-today(tml i can catch the semis onwards) in a company with only 2 computers that have internet access.. or if im nt watching with my iphone ive been logging in to webbies and getting updates. I went to watch tkd live on sunday.. and i enjoyed most of the matches.. well most.. some of them were really boring due to the fact tt there were 2 defensive players waiting for each other.. but i saw the real speed and sharpness of some of the gd player's kick... even we can learn much jus by watching these youths

I think all these youths really have great potiential.. i mean..even those tt lost 12-0 and they're the 0.. i do hope for all these kids no matter they results, they go back and train hard and come back stronger.. i really enjoyed watching them. and oh..congrats to the 2 sg players who won medals. they totally deserved it.

having said tt..im gg to relate this to myself. I've been training tkd for almost 4 yrs alr.. its nt alot compared to most of other ppl out there and im still learning.. after watching yog tkd.. i feel tt i have much more to learn still.. hahaah.. and i oso hope i can get some of the determination and the perserverance of the kids i saw.. i mean 4x headkicks by an opponent who has godlike speed,many ppl would have given up. Even I tot the one who has 0 would have given up. but i see 15-17yr olds standing up, trying their best, kicking, pushing themselves.. even though its 0-12... its really smth I can truely learn from them.

and well smth else i can learn..the kicks man! hahaha..some of them have really awesome techniques in getting scores.. can analyse analyse and use.. lol..

in a way.. coming nationals... well after all, i feel i have nth to lose.. so inspired by what the kids can do, i'll train hard, perservere(however u spell) even in the toughest of shifu's training, jus push myself to my limits. win or lose, well win is a bonus, every battle is an experience. im nt afraid to say tt im still a fresh blackbelter.. i have so much to go, and im willing to go for it,to push myself,to be fearless and nv give up. after all if 15-17yr olds can do it.. so can we uni students or post grads..

i hope everyone else in the club, can perservere thru adversities too!

convo '10-- a surprisingly fun event

and it finally came to the day some of us have been, or have nt really been waiting for for the past 4 yrs in uni... convocation!! haha.. the official more solemn graduation ceremony for us fresh grads.. so mine's on a sat, 31st july.. and i was still abit disappointed tt y mine nt on 30th july then i can get long weekend.. but then huh.. on hindsight.. i prefer it to be on 31st..hahaha.. cuz it didnt rain like crazy on 31st and can run ard ntu for camwhore sessions..

for eee since we have tons of students, our convo sessions is split into 2.. morning from 10am- 1pm for surnames A-L and afternoon from 2pm-6pm for M-Z.. so im in the morning session ah.. hahah.. and yes i reached sch at 830am alr so my father can easily find a parking space..haha.. the convo is held at ny audi.. and its time to gown on! with plenty of help from mama
and right at the same spot with gown.. and tie.. and it really freakin hot in tt gown i tell u! one shot with my family, mama ,papa and grandpa after tt my parents went into the audi while actually.. i alr entered.. but jeff xl forgot to bring his tix! hahah.. so i went out to find him..and it was kinda.. i guess blessing in disguise.. after all i found a few of my friends to kick start the initial camwhore session.. but i dun have the pics yet cuz i didnt bring my camera out.. oh yea..my better camera had to spoil leaving me with only the sucky camera..the same sucky one i brought to china.. hahaha.. but hey.. tt still works gd enough

anw.. my mom took this pic i thikn..when we were all standing to sing tt vit C gradutation song... heng our valdicdortian(dunno how to spell..basically the guy with tons of As, 1st class, tons of other sports and cca achievements gets to speak to all grads..) speech was pretty interesting... much more than i tot..hahaha(gd thing we voted him! and nt the.. A......T.....) after the ceremony..is massive camwhore sessions..

ms pro and i with gws.. our fav fyp prof.. with his threatening emails, all the scary presentations to him and his threatening us "tt our presentation isnt gd" emails to us.. oh did i mention he sends threatening emails to us?
w prof chong.. who looks like he might teach robotics since he's standing like a robot but no..actually he teaches wireless communication which the subject by itself is pretty interesting to me... hey.. the way a 2G hp works is much more complicaetd than i tot..hahaha with prof..er..er..chen? i think so.. haha..she taught database tog with a russian prof(the russian prof really really needs some translation)..v nice prof though
after tt the afternoon session ppl arrived early and its another camwhore session all again!! life in eee would really really be dull without all of these guys and girls... ahah
did i mention darth emo is in the 2nd session? hahha.. to the eyes of the normal ppl, the pic with darth emo and i looks as such..

sadly no more tt much of slacking times, pon lesson, last min copy work, copy quiz, mugging in lwn till midnight.. hahaha....i really treasure those times and im alr missing them..hahaha

darth emo's revival

well firstly believe it or nt i really really wanna blog alot of stuff...but i jus dun have the time to do so, given i got ge stuff, im working, and after doing everything its like time to slp..arghhh.. but then again.. lets blog abt... DARTH EMO'S REVIVAL!!!

after et3000's sudden(but really freaking relieving) disappeareance from dota, there's no more good emo catalyst, hx is ok but he rarely plays with us.. jx can do at times but he's inconsistant.. so some games he'll be owning.. and somehow the emoism in darth emo is slowly decreasing.. slowly but surely.. Now emo god sensed this, and he doesnt want his strongest disciple to jus fade away into happy-go-lucky land..

so yest night, right on the once un-emoed ivan tang's bday, emo god jioed us all from the BC to have a game.. and from there.. he channeled all his A++ grade emoism into the weakening darth emo, proclaiming his pudge nv hunt, he isnt a man of his words when threatening to quit and that he's useless... and thus, a purple cloud tt covers jurong to pasir ris for 3 days was formed, and lo and behold.. darth emo is REVIVED!!!! and stronger than ever!!! this time threatening nt only to quit dota for 3 days.. but FOREVER!!!(of cuz we know darth emo wont quit dota, he jus emo and proclaim he will quit dota).. darth emo's back and emo-er than ever! converting ppl into emos with jus a mere glance from him.. the world we once know will forever be emo...

ok great story..ahhaha.. well actually nt only darth emo has revived.. man eddism is spreading.. jus 2 days ago my friend and i played with this guy called lamdrige... he really really sucked.. i have hardly seen anyone aim worst than him.. and he still calls me noob..when i was really keeping the team alive and going..

see there's this new hero called thrall.. as of now he's ownage and a little broken.. one of his skill consists of an aoe barrier that takes 1s to form, prevents enemies from moving into barrier or moving out of the barrier if he's trapped inside.. and an ulti that does aoe dmg and silences.. so nartually u combo them 2 tog.. pretty gd dmg and near unescapable if u're in the barrier..

but lamdrige missed EVERY single one of his barrier.. yes EVERY FREAKIN one...i have nv seen him trapped anyone inside his barrier..nt a single enemy.. rox right.. and so i scolded him, asked him to aim better.. he called me a noob.. fine.. so later on i asked him

well actually its been a mth since i last updated..hahaha.. things has been really busy these couple of weeks or so..as most do know ive been working for the last couple of weeks alr, actually 3 to be exact, but well really even when im doing NOTHING in office especially during the 1st week, i go back home..tired, loss of energy man... i tell u it must be the waking up early la!! cfm one lorrrrr..ahah..

ive been working in a small software company...things..well lets jus say it isnt the way i tot work might me..well mayb i havent really been working at all tts y i havent experienced much.. all i can say now is well i pretty much ilke the colleagues there..they're friendly and all.. but i dun really like the working culture as of now... lol.. pretty much says everything... might be a challange to last 2 yrs.. im thinking of escaping after 1.5..hahahahh.. alr planned..

so well what to do after 1.5yrs? lets see... i do wanna teach.. really.. i kinda discovered tt during my uni days i guess... initially i didnt want to..then suddenly..i kinda like it..hahha.. though i know teachers now are doing more admin than teaching, at least half of my work im doing smth i like rather than now im forcing myself to do smth i USED to like..

at least i still have tkd..or i still am going back tkd.. well its fun really..i like to kick stuffs..hahaah

been dotaing heavily esp during the weekends...weekdays nt yet la cuz i still got grad night stuffs to do.. wa to my horror eddism lives!! i mean..i havent seen et3000 in garnea for mths(1 mth ago et3000 played with us and he has nt improved much..but fed a little less..jus a little la) but still he infects ppl with his "noobish spores" or smth...only cleansing fire can purge noobish spores from an infected dota player..hahaha.. ive been seeing lots of weird items of ppl.. battlefury for potm anyone? or how abt am with shit items(vlad,bf) after farming nc and lane for 45mins.. even i had more powerful items than he has and i didnt farm nc for 45mins and i still pwned and get killed..

i guess i still have abit of things to say like after one mth of haitus in blogging..haha.. oh yea jus one more thing

im back from the land of anime!!! actually i was back a last wed night actually but i had camp on fri.. i nua-ed to the max on thurs and went camp on fri(which ill blog abt it once i can get some decent pics online or smth) so im blogging all these now..hahaha.. ok i decided to blog in like..reverse..so whoever stumbles ontot his blog can see the jap trip in like chornoligiacaical order.. yes...so tts y...the 3rd part of the jap trip is here!!

Day 5

the 1st half of the day we went to kobe!! haha..ok la for sightseeing.. u all do rmb the kobe earthquake in 1995 right? for those who are as old as me prob will..the strong earthquake in the middle of kobe... well kobe recovered within a mere 2 yrs and when i reached there...its like all other cities.. clean and high tech..no rocks,no cracks on road, no tilted uncleared stuff...well except for this area...the kobe earthquake memorial park.. in which they kept one small section untouched from the earthquake to remind ppl of the disasterous effects and that they shld always be prepared..

after tt went to harbour land..in which...well its a small shopping area but since we were there early all shops were closed..yea so only take random pics and zuo bo there......

then after tt went to the kobe sake factory and had a 15min lect + small tour on how sake is made...but the highlight is.... free sake tasting!!!! think had real high quality ones..the sake is pretty sweet.. but abit of the eh..u know.. alcohol "la(spicy in chi)" kinda taste..yea its gdddd..hahaa..

and then..the real highlight of the dayyy.. back in osaka.....universal studios!!!!

with a fat me posing at the universal studios globe..its much more fun than disneyland cuz well.. the rides arent all roller coasters.. there are some..but most of those i took was like the 3d rides.u know..makes u feel like u're in the game or the movie or smth.. and watched those 4D movies...(like when donkey sneeze water is sprayed onto u etc..).. well...pics time!!

the 4d movie studio i was talking abt..the movie is all in japanese though..so well i had to guess what's going on... there's usually a 10min like intro or backstory in a huge room with multiple screens b4 the movie starts though
chanced upon a sesame street performance while walking ard waiting for the shrek 4d movie to start.. i reached universal studios at ard 1230, shrek movie starts at 240pm

wanted to take a pic of bert and ernie.. well somehow it included a pretty stoned looking big bird..

and chanced upon another performance..snoopy!

managed to catch the peter pan live performance in time right after the shrek 4d show.. peter pan performance starts at 330pm but when we reached at 310pm the viewing gallery is alr full.. so yea..must be gdddd... well... u here cant really enjoy the live performance.. and peter pan is really gd to watch.. so with my expert japanese and pics ill translate what i heard and thru the pics tell u the story...

narrator: one fine morning, peter pan wakes up and without brushing his teeth or taking a shower, he proceeds to... no nt eat breakfast.. to dance.

after tt saw another mini performance.. one without words this time so i no need to translate.. its abt the guy and a statue who suddenly comes alive and dances with him..then later she went back to being a statue b4 the ship 'left'.. pretty funny really..especially the expression from the guy.. then went for a ride at the jurassic park ride... in which.. ends with a like huge drop down into a small puddle of water.. didnt get really wet though.. i tot ill end up extremely wet..hahaha

then went to watch terminator 2 4d movie..which involves some live action so its pretty cool too.. after tt...its dinner time!!! hahaha.. had a bowl of nice ramen.. which... jus like everything in japan costs a bomb..but its really simple and nice...

and of cuz dessert too.. crepe.. hahha

so after tt, went back to hotel and tt kinda ended the day 5 in japan!

nth much on day 6..its actually jus the flight back to sg... shopped ard in the airport to spend whatever leftover yen i have and...i finally found the shiroi koibito!!!!(its extremely ex though)

i really had fun thru this japan trip..it was really short but real fun! spend and ate tons.. and well.. wish i can go back again! =P

yes to all our horror and fear and emoism et3000 did jio us to dota..but then again..somehow or rather.. he didnt feed as much as we expected him to... i mean we expected a like 0-20 in a 1hr game..but no la...51mins i think ard 1-6 only... its..nt so gd but nt too bad to start out esp after nt playing for a few mths.. but then... his farming was..really really chui..i mean seriously.. cuz when we played(apsp) he was on the other team...with only a 1-6 and using a pretty easy character to farm he only got 2 items, boots and battlefury... jx with a 0-6 bm got threads(more ex version of boots), battlefury and bkb...

so...being insanely free and bored i decided to find out what the prob was for et3000's farming.. oh yea i did found out alright the reason for et3000's l33+ farming skills.. he was running ard doing nth half the time!!! ya..nt even hitting creeps, nt even killing neutrel creeps..nth! he was jus running ard, getting himself killed, run ard again to no where with no aim.. tt explains how his items were crap...

well et3000 is now in indo..i guess for his grad trip..after that he come back dota...i wonder how his farming will be :/

besides being massively dotaing and ffx-ing i oso went back training k!!! its super tiring lorrrrr.. shifu on fire or smth..or mayb the training was alr toned down... and its still killer la... hahaha.. after the warm up i alr cannot take it..then all the multiple kick here and there and the 4x low high low high without the kicking leg touching the floor... man...tiring lorr..hahaah

oh yea!! last week i went to the getaway cum surprise bday party for 3 of the sajang,ojang members affiliaties and whoever la..hahaha...it was real fun!!! ok la..only watch scv, eat eggs, fruit salad and pizza and cake and stun over how jp can finish the "pull toilet paper game" within 3.08s(tts the best timing in my phone..my average is like 15s..mayb i jus nv practise enough..haha), listening to laserbeam getting high over a tv show exclaiming "i spoiler, later sure got sand..sure got sand one"

and we nv knew tt laserbeam was secretly a female! hahaha... see even the welcome card says so! too bad after this time we cant book the apartment alr... need a min of like 6 days stay.. sadded..its much much nicer than chalets..hhaha

am going to japan..soon!!! hahahah..im so going to spam on food there, snacks(yes ill buy lots back)..and..more food la..haha

i've been like nuaing for the past like few days since i ended my fyp presentation.. ah man.. fyp presentation... wa i got shot non stop.. then again the only thing im thankful abt pudge's hrm lesson and his really time consuming and nt so rewarding hrm core module is tt he trained me to still do alright even after while getting shot halfway thru presentation..which is well..all tt had happened during my fyp presentation.. and then again last demo the moderator wanted more theory.. now i gave him theory..he said too much!! arghhh..well mayb i did put too much... eh who cares... its all overrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!

so after tt i went back to sch on a mon afternoon to clear up my hall.. and well.. i kinda felt sad.. u know, graduating alr... gotta leave sch.. yea its been a long and enjoyable 4 yrs in sch, new chap in life, working, earn money blabla.. ill kinda miss ponning everything and anything..hahah.. gotta find a job now... though i dun feel like starting really too soon.. hahaaha

so in a way im totally nuaing at home.. man i finished final fantasy X.. ok nt finished i mean jus the story i finished.. still on the way of getting all the ultimate weapon, going to finish off all the dark aeons..and well tt will take a long long long while... but im glad i went on to finish the story 1st b4 going back to complete the sidequests.. man the ending was epic! :)

its like 3 days overdue but.. exams are overrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!!!!though i still have fyp to go but this calls for early celebration!! hahhaha... then again..till the majority finishes exams.. i oso stuck at home mostly.. ok la..there's ffx and dota...but too much oso sian eh.. well..there's autumn concerto too...hahahaha..ok la...im pretty occupied with massive nuaing and at times going out roaming some streets till the rest finish exams..heheehe

then again..after all the agony and slpless nights exams have caused..im certainly going to miss them... ok la..nt really exams but sch life in general... life in ntu was certainly one of the best moments in my life..lots of things happened, the good, the bad.. but hey we all grew up.. and really i had much more fun in ntu than anywhere else i suppose...hahaha... esp ivp periods..man those are the hardest days, juggling sch work and competition but those were the most rewarding days..esp when my team go up take medal.. proud lehhhh..ahahaha..think my uni life revolves ard tkd...mostly.. ok there's still insinyur of cuz! :)

well time to go complete my ffx! hahha..yea abit slow..the time i got ps2 i was busy was ivp stuff..nv got time then after to play ffx..now..i've plenty of time! hehe...i hope fyp presentation wont be too taxing..im alr in massive holiday mood..hah

last week's exam was horrigible.... well ok i shldnt really complain so much since im supposed to know the entire core instead of relying on patterns of past yrs and so but still...this yr's qns is so so so so different!!! i was like expecting earth's bulge and i practise until pro alr.. turn out there's almost NO qn on it except for 1 theory qn... turns out to be a derivation qn of some plane earth prob..arghhhhhhh.... even part 1 got 1 pattern qn on the cell radius when cell splitting is used..arghhh... totally nv seen b4.. cell splitting was jus a single slide in my notes..man.. how pattern can the profs be..let us try to grad in peace laaaa... hahahaha

super street fighter 4(ssf4) is going to be released in a days time!! officially la...yet alot of ppl somehow got copies alr...somehow man..dunno they preorder or what la.. but FINALLY they have themes for everyoneeeeee... oh yea!! im a huge huge fan of sf and i do love their themes esp the classic ones. the 1st sf4 some of the themes were jus...'meh'.. ssf4 composer(of if its the same person gd job anyways) nailed the themes well..haha... boxer's, claw's all sounds gd...even new chracters like hawk theme is great(not so techno-y like ken's...)..

but the theme that got stuck to my mind is cody's theme.. it totally suits him... dark and troubled past, from hero to criminal(likely framed for what he has done...though constantly looking for fights isnt that lawful either) do turn off the side music if u wanna hear the themes..

i was worried abt the sf3 character's themes too..namely dudley's, ibuki's and makoto's one..cuz they were all pwnage in sf3 esp dudley's... makoto ssf4 theme's isnt the style i particularly like..but well.. dud's was way gd... it has dignity! hahahah

i tell u..if im employed..im prob going to spend my 1st pay on ps3, ssf4 and an arcade stick..oh yea throw in msg4, soul calibur 4, tekken 6, ff13....ahaha

my next exam is like 2 days time..on wed...seriously sucks..its open book but somehow while doing the pyps the open book seems...useless... or nt say useless la..nt as useful as i tot...scary really.. open book exams are always the hardest =(

well mugging time.... i do wish for exams to end soon..but the prospect of playing dota with ed makes me feel like prolonging exams till 7th may..seriously..hahahah... i rather torture myself than get tortured playing with et3000..

man..after all this time..like almost 3 mths since ed last appeared on garena and played dota but man we're all still talking abt him..i mean like how noob ed will always be, how he can leave teh aegis behind after killing rosh cuz he dun wanna drop his bracer, how ed cant tell illusions from the real stuff, how ed's reaction speed is so slow it makes a snail seem like it can run..

the reaction thingy is so thru..ed always smokes or does his aoe stuff AFTER the hero has left the area..man..we all highly suspect tt ed doesnt use hotkeys..but come on.. it cant be tt slow right? hahahaha.. but no..ed totally re-defined and brought the noobness lvl back down.. worse still.. ed is breeding!! yes.... room 40 is now ed-infested.. all sorts of noobs lurk there, waiting for a chance to spoil game, ragequit or stun players like us with things only ed could possible do..

10 more days to exam! 10 more days to the final exam im gg to have in ntu..im crazy to say this but im going to miss exams! ahha..i mean i hate them to the core really, but the journey of mugging tog with friends, quarrelling over ans and all and after tt comparing how much we have died-ed after each paper is really fun.. i mean nt then but when u think back of it... thats one of the things im gg to miss after i grad..honest! hahaha

kinda hooked to watching ssf2t(super street fighter 2 turbo) tourney matches and pro gameplay.. widely regarded as the best sf ever created its still played by pro players up till today(u rarely see a fighting game ard 1996 lasting until now with many tourneys still being conducted).. well though i think 3s(street fighter 3-3rd strike) is the best and smoothest sf so far out there..

but anw... one of the techniques to own for ssf2t is to control space.. or distancing.. equally as impt as tkd i must say(which i really hope to get much better in..well for tkd..and mayb ssf2t)... watch the vid above, the guile is extremely gd at distancing, backfisting ryu's face like 3x ftw..well due to the fact tt guile's sonic booms recover much faster than ryu's ahhhhdugen(hadoken) and if the distance is correct guile can backfist ryu into some pretty gd dmg, very gd against projectile spammers in general.. and very very nice gief comeback against boxer too.. man i jus miss playing these classic games..ahhaha

well a few days ago was april fool..and i got fooled..3x..by the same person..arghhhhh..hahha.. how can i get fool like 3x by the same person?!?! and she didnt jus fool me at one go leh.. wa lao the last one was like kfc chicken selling for $0.10 on that day(1st april) only..the hint so big i dunno i still tio fooled.... =*((((((((.. shows how er...innocent i am..ahhaha.nt naive..innocent!!!! hahaah

well i still managed to fool 1 person..hehehe =P

still i had a dramatic sat instead...i was going to get my iphone on sat..yea after a little bit of convincing my parents agreed..also i wanna change the plan to under my name instead of my father's so i can have the student plan.. but when i reach singtel at west mall..things started to get a little strange at 1st.. i suddenly have 2 iphone plans under my name.. i was like huh? i mean.. i nv got any lines under my name b4.. could have by any chance they key or scan wrongly? so i asked the singtel staff to check la... wa turns out i really have 2 lines registered on 24th march and 25th march.. wa lao eh stun.. 24th,25th is wed thurs..and i was in schhhhhhhhhh... how i split and register...i nt naruto leh!!!

so we requested to see the cctv... lo and behold.. a fat, bearded guy with specs and a pink sweater is registering under my name, using the 11b i lost 5 yrs ago... 5 freakin yrs ago..man...ok the staff didnt check on the face ok...since well ppl can change so much after they ord for 4yrs..but come on... my ord date is there, and it was ord like 4yrs ago! expired 11b alr!!! still ok nvm..the stupid pink shirt guy register under singtel 2 lines la..then go starhub oso register 2 plans for iphone.. cfm to sell one lorr...

no but it doesnt stop there!!! he still go bukit batok police station report "i" "lost" my nric.. WTH!!! i nv lost my ic b4 lor..and so he prob has a replacement slip stating tt i "lost" my ic blablabla... dunno do what la...dun give da er long can alr..zzzzz...

i finally reached a 100th post!!! wow..hahhah..though i know i havent been blogging regularly.hahaha... hey taking a break from the crappy fyp stuff ya... almost done in the report..jus need heavy touch up..haha..yea..pretty heavyyyyy

i went for a tournament last weekend..my 1st after my injury and my 1st as a bb..i lost my 1st round, to my cat's eventual champ but hey..its cool.. though i sparred pretty fearfully the 1st 2 rounds, got my act tog(kinda too late though..but still it felt way gd to score him a few in the last and he scoring me less..much less) and yea..had a great 3rd round..ahahaha.. gotta train more(dota as well..man i havent dota for so longggg) when i have the time..nationals here i comeeee!!!

yes ivp is over! lots of tears, sweat, blood for some..but hey..its common..hahaha.. on the 5th was pattern.. and i gotta say all our pattern teams did really well! they all did their best and walked away as champions, even for some who has no medals to show..but well...doesnt matter really, for them to have come so far, i think they are champs alr! i'll post up pics once all of them are uploaded..hahaa

then again..i gotta rant this.. i kinda think, esp for pattern, its sometimes really going over to the unfair and biased region alr.. well i know some guy who did koryo for what.. 7.5? ok his pattern is gd yes..but 0.5 pts more than the 2nd place person? pls..his pattern is nt so ownage until tt phase u know... its like, the game is being judged by whether ur own sch judges are there to help u press a high score or smth rather than the actual skill u have, which totally sux really. i dun mean our own players will own every single other sch, its jus some of the scores us or the other schs got is plain unfair! and i dun think our sch ref practise this "cheating"..i mean, come on..if nt my one of my sajang indiv girl,teresa, would have gone to the finals..arghhh.. hope that it would really be a test of skills than a test of politics at times.. ok rant over..haha

its over alr..rating wont bring the deserved medals of some of the teams/indivs..

well the teams did well..and the sparrers wooooo..they did extremely well too! frankly we had doubts at 1st..sending in fresh sparrers or those who had no exp at all into the ring for the 1st time..and its nt 1 or 2..its many.. of cuz everyone gotta start somewhere..but well..too many ppl starting from scratch makes u worry ya? hahaha.. but...they all did extremely well! hahaha... really great job to the sparrers and coaches! of cuz pics will be out once our zai photographer posts them up...

still to end it off..we are the champions yet again!!! =D

its that time of the yr again... tt i dun blog often! hahahaah...okok lame and all but its the same time of the yr again... well.. if the 3 same letters as of last yr ard similar to this time post.. I-V-P!!! oh yea.. really really really busy at the moment juggling btw pattern teams and fyp.. in a way a well i dunno whether it can be called "blessing in disguise" but cuz i injured my arm badly i cant spar.. nt tt ill immediately be chosen but well.. i dun need to spend more time on sparring.. which i can put more to pattern and fyp.(ok..i admit..much more put to pattern). lets hope the team do well this weekend..

well..jan is over....really quickly..well i mean..suddenly its week 4 of sch.. week 4 of my last sem in sch!! =(((((...man i really dun wanna grad...ok i wanna earn money but well i think work can and is boring at times..i prefer studying! i can pon lect but i cant pon work! arghhhh.. ahhaah..well...still.. we all have to grad and start working...

went for career fair at the end of jan...man..lots and lots of companies and ppl..haha..left my name in a few and all kinds of work ranging for engineering to financial advisors to government jobs.. hope they do reply or ask for interviews soon..hahha... vic came by too! to oogle at girls.. he claimed he was spying at how the other companies set up booths..but we all know the real truth

then again...while schooling...we have been....dotaing of cuz!! muahahaha..even when i 1st shift into hall on a sun night i was dotaing! wahhaha... and of cuz with dota we'll talk abt the emo catalyst ed.. ed is vic's creation of horror. Worst than a cheap low budget horror film, ed will make sure u become and stay emo..

recently ed's bro played( we were sure ed's bro was playing..his ursa had a dominating streak pwning some useless troll..still i mean..hardly anyone was noober than ed and his snail speed reaction time...) ursa and ed starting becoming bolder, scolding vic for being kei gao after ksing him numerous times and.....guess what..... claiming tt he's a master of dota*gasp* ... well..ill let this pic tell u all our reaction...its excatly similar when ed declared himself master of dota

well ed u cant be a master when...
1) rushing into team battles after the whole stuff is over..oh yea...ed rushed into my mag after we chased away his team..of cuz the result was a 1 sided rape of ed's bara

2) having the reaction speed of a snail.. yea..ed stones at spots, claiming he's watching stuff..worse, a hero could backstab u, u run ard screaming for help and ed still creeps.worse..when heroes backstab ed..with a gazillion pings and 'b' from allies, he still doesnt budge

3) having a horrible last hit.. vic claims tt ed's last his is so horrible, he daggers half hp units with PA.. pa's dagger at lvl 4 takes away ard slightly less than 1/4 of the creep's hp..tts alot alr and to think ed cant time tt right..

4) misses his ursa's stomp 99% of the time, this i do nt need to elaborate..

man..more tut less dota..next tues i have to present tut4 qn1 for 4188... argh..a 4 part qn which looks cheeem... sianzzz

been heavily dotaing the last week b4 sch reopens, ie 5th jan-11th jan.. pretty much there.. we all took turns to emo over ed's fantastic play.. his jugg still ulti's 5 creeps but sudd he switched to bs.. well..he did improve..abit...jus a tiny bit..at least he can kill some sole intel hero or a weak one standing ard... but still, its ed, 0-7 are common for him..

and guess what.. IVAN TK-ed VIC!! see see...vic last time keep saying i tk-er...but ivan's was worse... ivan tossed vic's medusa into a grp of enemy.. at least hx get pwns in a blaze of glory when he's surrounded by 5 heroes, vic's med was totally owned when ivan tossed him to 5 heroes.. painful yet funny to watch... of cuz after tt vic emoed..as usual..hahahah

went for tkd retreat on the last fri b4 sch reopens..was quite fun...gossiping sessions glaore...and seeing benard drunk..man..benard drunk and nt drunk behaves the same except when being drunk he's jus 10x more irritating... when he's drunk he kept insisting he isnt drunk(jus like when benard is normal he always kept insisting he will eat durians when he so hates them), stole another person's drink claiming tt she's drunk(epic i tell u...best) and when we asked him to go back room and slp, he dun want! say nt tired...10mins later he's slping on the pavement... pro ed! u're pro!!! well on top of tt jp became mrs rusky..ask her for more details.. rusky seemed to have so much connection tt it..erm...did an action related to procreation to jp..well..ask her more..i shant say anything else..haha

and..FINALLY I GOT MY FULL TEAM BACK! finally finally finally finally!! but unfortunately one got sick for the 1st possible full team training! arghhhhh..hahaha..nvm la..sure got full team training one..sure got..

man...i finally went down to I2R to show tt ive created a simple gui for my fyp only to get a task 10x more difficult... well...time to chiong i guess..for the greater good! i mean for my fyp!! hahaha

THE EMO CATALYST!!!! yes..he is tt catalyst tt triggers emoism in anyone and everyone dotaing..yes...nt many ppl can take his slow reactions or obvious mistakes to heart and nt emo over them..take a look at this case studies and u know y he is THE EMO CATALYST!!!!

case 1: his jugg ulti's when there's 4-5 creeps ard his enemy.. yes, many a times he does tt..even thru freq reminders tt he shld(for lvls up to 15 max) jus spin when there's too many creeps ard the enemy and ulti them later if can..but NOoooo... he has to ulti them 1st cuz its cool then whiff(miss..its a fighting game term..usually used when a ken/ryu shoryuken spammer hits no one with his 10th shoryuken in a row) his spin and let the opponent ran away.. it happened i tell u..this exact thing happened..and we missed a chance of killing a half hp balanar who has a mega kill streak..to think ed has used jugg since dec last yr playing plenty of games with him...

case2: nt learning ulti for his bloodseeker.. man smths we wonder whether THE EMO CATALYST!!!! can read the skill descriptions or nt.. nt learning ulti for bloodseeker? then how is he supposed to hunt ppl early on... needless to say we got owned really bad..hahah.. and he tot rupt(bs's ulti) is some kinda ownage ulti tt instakill heroes.. guess he needs to read and reread the skill description..

case3: nt learning glaves of wisdom for silencer..the skill tt silencer usually kills with 98% of the time..its like a sk with no stun or a zeus with no nuke... need i say more? and as expected we got owned pretty badly.. gd thing emo god wasnt ard if nt he would have ragequitted the moment ed says he nv learn glaves or the moment he reached his 5th death..which is exceedingly quick i tell u..

had a trip to ubin yest, with pauline, xuanie,eo and jp.. haha..was fun! 2nd time to ubin and 1st time i went back with my metallic arm. initially i was even afraid tt i wont be able to cycle properly cuz of my new fear and falling and hurting myself again. hhaha..but it all went well though i didnt cycle tt fast i think..but still...at least i know i can cycle again..hahaha...

10 emo commandments

In the year AD2009, just right after christmas(cue superman music), while our one and only emo god is doing his most holy stuff of dotaing, suddenly, he uttered out a few phrases, phrases that caught mere emo disciples like gz, vic , ivan like the emo grail. These phrases are subsequently translated to old engrish and from then on they will be refered to as part of the 10 emo commandments, made by the emo god to govern all rules and dota and emoism. Emo readers and fellow converts alike, witness this event as I unfold the 1st 4 emo commandments to for your emoism pleasure. Make known this emo commandments hold true for all emo dota games no matter the version and emo converts to be.

1)Thou shalt know that everything starts out fair
This is especially true for dota games as commented by our one and only emo god, czy. His reasoning is cuz every game starts out 5v5, hence its fair.

2)Thou is incompetient if thy teammates leave
This rule states that if your teammates leave, it is your fault that you are incompetient enough not to make then stay and feed the emo god. No its nt the leaver's fault, the teammate are incompetient as declared by our emo god.

3)If thou can push and don't push, thou might as well go die please
Our emo god is not a kind one, yet if u follow him ultimate emoness awaits. So if the emo god calls for a push, he means it. If not, be prepared to be tked(team killed) several times.

4)After thou has raxed thy enemy, if thou don't back, thou might as well eat shit
The emo god has declared that after raxing the enemy, we should not stay and kill helpless heroes and destroy random buildings that provides 100+ gold. We must back, or suffer the consequences of eating shit.

And there it is, the 1st 4 emo commandments. Follow these rules and your dota will be emo. Very emo...

well..on sun...i was surprised..really... to be really frank, initially the freshie batch fighters were like, uncertain la if i had to put it in words..when the 1st time i saw them..v raw, v no exp at all.. nt tt im a world class fighter or even close to a gold medalist fighter but then i can see tt the freshie batch and the 2nd yr fighters might have a hard time after all... after yest's fights, i saw big improvement in everyone..winner and loser alike and sudd..i feel confident and proud to say tt these are the fighters tt will represent our sch in the upcoming ivp... they might nt be ready now..but they will be rdy after the next 2 mths..

so my msg(speech) to all ivp fighters is that after sun, this marks the end of an epic battle. The winner emerges with the pride and honour of a hard won victory but also with a nagging sense of uncertainty. The loser walks away with a heart heavy with shame and anger but ready to make a new start and fight again another day. Both fighters know that this isn't truely the end and neither one's potiential has been truely reached and there's much hard trainings ahead. They will never forget the days of exchanging blows on the arena. They will never forget the days of lost hope and self loathing. Once they caught their breath, the warriors will return to the ring. This is the burden of the TRUE fighter. There is no other choice. Who knows where the next opponent lies? This ivp camp maybe over, but the true fights and stories are just beginning!

well...yea..extreme makeover..tt was my belated bday gift..haha..a pretty fun one too.. was sorta tricked on wed by pauline to meet in city harvest to have lunch..then when i reached..well only eo was ard but later on paulien and xuanie came... then after tt left kfc near harvest there..then i tot..ok mayb taking bus to jp or smth..then noooooo...sudd after a series of twists and turns they led me to a salon! hahah..say ya..this guy wanna dye hair... so yea...i think see the pic for urself la huh..haha

tadaaaa..hahh...surprised? no? lol... its pretty cool and really fun la thru the dye hair process...hhaha.. after tt went to jp to buy clothes! hahah..totally extreme makeover man... well...felt like a fashion model for once..keep changing clothes! haha..but it was fun la..then off to timbre to chill and eat... really fun =D

had dinner with my great ojang team on thurs...ahha..think all of them were stunnded to see my funkier hair..hahah.. gotta thank them for the g2000 shirt they gave me..and the extremely extremely sinful really choc cake! ahha =D

today was ivp camp..and man..shifu training damn siong la...mayb cuz half the time im trying nt to swing my arms and/or lose balance.. rather well..20,30,40 forward short turning kicks is tiring to me...and prob 90% of the club... guess shifu after nt taking trainig for the whole of exams is rather high..

oh yea got introed to a pretty nice drama series by pauline..autumn concerto! haha..taiwanese drama..so far i only watched ep1...yesyes its nt alot but i find it quite nice so far..hahaha..dun dare to keep watching too much b4 exam ends if nt ill jus keep watching and watching and watching and not studying..hahah

well yea 3 more days to exam...starting with the 1st paper on 19th which is a design module..1qn, 2 parts 50 marks each...and i still dun understand half the steps which i need to solve the qns..argh..gd thing its open book... hrm is next on the 20th...stupid hrm..make me memorise soooo much...MH still said if mcq less than 11/25 he will immediately fail us...mcq isnt easy man...its like i need to swollow the entire ob book to rmb what models those are...crapalistic...

anw today studied with some of the tkd ppl and yea...its prob the most productive ive been since the start of revision with real mugging for hours...though there's still chit chats but hey u gotta rest right?? hahahs..and we all did have some interesting topics...hahaha

jus today when i opened my internet browser i chanced upon this...(rmb to turn off the side music if u are watching this!!)

yea the prince of persia movie trailer! im nt a great fan of prince of persia but then anw im a gamer and yes ive played prince of persia..so..im prob gg to watch it..eh..lets see..coming out in may 2010...argh...long wait... well looks promising though... video game movies dun naturally do well cuz fans wants all stuff from the games included but movies can only be like max 3hrs long(i guess)? then well u cant fit an epic game into 3hrs of film, or u can jus tt u need to be real gd to do so... well as long as prince of persia is better than this movie...

I rmb liking it when i was a child seeing the sf characterss come alive but then again..when i rewatched it later on..it was horrible..plotwise and character development..hahha

then again...street fighter cartoons didnt do well at all... take a look at this compliation of all the stupid parts of the cartoon(again i tot it was the in thing then...)

it has almost been a mth since i fractured my wrist alr...im getting used to the 1 handedness but of cuz i wish i can fully use my other hand soon la..haha

anw after tt op ive been going back hospital once in a while for checkups and physio.. had my 1st physio like last thurs morning..seriously it was soo scary...though it really wasnt tt painful...wss more nervous than scared the 1st time round.. anw think my the-rapist is oso a v nice person, she says she usually wont push too much..so she says la huh..but 1st session i alr kena push the wrist backwards abit too much..lol..but ok la..tahanable...well besides all the testing and measuring of wrist movement at the therapy centre there's the heat pack treatment which is jus warming up ur muscles by squashing ur hand with an oversized heat pack...

had my removal of stitches done jus yest..well again i was more nervous than in pain..so gd thing it went smoothly..10mins and it was done!! on the same day was physio #2.. my ususl the-rapist was buy so i got another..this time the-rapist2 wasnt tt kind..twisting my forearm alot..(though she did say my fingers and forward movement was gd..) again had tt heat treatment and then used the eh...i call them machines la..lol..its smth like a gym machine..smaller versions for wrists to aid their movement..well..the-rapist2 jus left me there to do the machine exercises myself..till ok..finally session ended..haha..next session is on thurs..

so..time to show u all what i've managed to do..rmb i started from an immobile wrist tt hurts to even move an mm...though i still got lots more to go..

before i start..the end product is the movement of a normal wrist..u can try the exercises..wont show the final objective here..haaha

starting off with the side view, and the 1st exercise for the fingers, jus keeping them straight..yea.initially my 2nd finger esp was crooked..now its all straight again

next is thumb dexerity...supposed to touch all fingertips with the thumb and all the finger section seperating lines on the pinky as well and the 1st line of the palm, the last one i couldnt do for now

the final thumb dexerity exercise as demoed by my right hand..

of cuz im still working on my thumbs up sign...

next is bending wrist forward and emitting light from fingertips

and now my worst exercise..doesnt seemed like i moved but im bending my wrist backwards...haha

the next 2 exercises, i call them the extreme waving motion, have to wave at the max possible angle of a non-metallic healthy wrist(if u cant do it without swinging the rest of ur arm place ur arm on the table and wave using only ur wrists...tts the angle i need to reach)

yes im moving here too..lol..the forearm motion.. without moving ur elbows face plam towards and away from urself...its really hard for me for now...

the 5cm centipede

so i guess i wont be ever needing a cast for the recovery of my wrist fracture..had an appt on fri..doc took out the bandages and changed my wound dressing..and there i saw it..the 5cm "centipede" near my wrist..or the cuit where the surgeon made la...seriously with the stiches it looks like a centipede..

well i cant show the actual centipede pic..i think would be too gross..lol

anw ya...then surgeon came in, he said my wrist is straight now, no need for casts and ask me go take xray then later come back for his review. so after waiting for eons, got my xray and saw the b4/after... b4 x ray was a crooked mess of bones, can see the obvious slant, the after surgery..well obvioulsy its straight again...with a fairly huge metal support+screws..ouch yea..haha.. after tt went to the rehab centre to learn the rehab exercises..

i really think my therapist talks and sounds like ming na, one of my tkd friends..so much so ive to look twice at the name tag to ensure it isnt ming na im talking to..haha...learn the simple exercises and the-rapist made a plastic splint for me for support..quite cool they way they made the splint..they put the plastic solid piece in water, mould it to the shape of my hand and added the velco straps..

after therapy, joined the tkd gang for dinner..man..seeing them spar..i miss sparring alr..lol... soon soon, ill be back.. but b4 tt its therapy+exams... argh! at least the gd thing is tml is the final hrm presentation...or izzit gg to be another redo???!!

im back from op and feeling less giddy alr...though i vomitted nt too long ago..haha..but vomitting makes me feel better.. sadly there goes my snowfish...

well my op was scheduled at 1230pm..so have to reach hospital at 1045am..yea..reached at 1020am though...then ok..registered, waited..then went in day surgery ward to take weight, change to op clothes and wait lor...wait wait wait...my name was called, nurse asked a few qns abt whether i got eat after midnight la, gir allegery or nt, teeth ok or nt etc.. and brought me to the op area liao

ok...reach op waiting room, another nurse took over and re asked me the exact same qn..the ok..waited for a while then the operating room nurse came in and re asked the golden qns and brought me into the op room.. op room was well..as wat u all see in movies and tv show..yea..complete with the bog overhead lights..

then a doc came in..asked me those qns again to like quadruple cfm..then she tole me abt the op procedure.. ill get IVed..then after tt ill ko..then they will put a breathing tube thru my mouth...then after tt insert the metal support into my wrist(to become like wolverine as ernie mentioned...hahaha) while the IV feeds med to y system..so ok lor..

i hate IVs cuz i had a horrible exp with 1 a few yrs back in NS..had fever for 4 consecutive days.. so the med officer told me to rest in sickbay..ok..then, yes i was IVed by a medic...i still rmb wat he said to me right b4 he stabbed me with the needle..his exact words were

"ill be IV-ing u. ill do it on ur non master hand(left) 1st, if i miss(the vein i guess) ill do it on the right, if i miss again ill try the left again..if still cannot ill tell the doc to do"

yea..fantastic....superb..obviously after tt statement i sian diao la..then he proceeded to IV me..and boy..it doesne feel like an injection..its more like stabbing me...gd thing he got the vein on his 1st try....

ok..bsck to today..well the doc's IV didnt hurt!! was surprised..lol..expecting some kinda huge pain..but its ok...lol..after tt the doc asked me to breathe thru some mask, then told me she's injecting some med thru the IVed area..then i KO liao..lol..

after wat felt like a nap i woke up..feel ultra dizzy and yea, the world was spinning like tt..ok nurse pushed me to ward..had a rest there till my parents came..ate some biscuits and milo in the hospital..

ok la..it was an exp..which i really wish nv to go thru again..haha..fri will be my 1st therapy session...

last 2 weeks were hell weeks, 3 assignments, hrm(enough ranting abt hrm...no posts is enough to cover all the rants), 1 quiz and the temporary loss of an arm...haha..

yes i am typing this with 1 arm..lol

well abt the temporary loss...one fine tues night..was at training destressing and all..then gotta spar with one of my friends..sudd..while i was about to kick him..somehow either he pushed me and i fell or i jus lost balance and i fell...no idea..it all happened so fast..then..somehow instinctively i stuck out my left hand(falling to the left ma), heard a loud crack when i landed and cant move my wrist liao..the pain was...wooooooooooooooooooooo..lol

ok..nic called ambulance...and told me likely fracture wrist..true enough..it is..went to NUH..got a jab at my thigh(yes..leg there..thigh) to numb my wrist for initial x ray..came out its quite a bad fract...part of wrist is misaligned+broken into 4 parts..ok...so..after waiting for eons, a female doc came with a few nurses..poked my left, right hand..fed a whole load of anethesia and constricted(stopped blood flowing with a machine) my left hand, injected a whole load of anethesia into my left, (the nurses was holding my left arm, the other my right) and the doc gave me the worse ever hand massage in my life, or so she said she was trying to align the bones....

after tt hand was casted, 2nd xray, needed to go back appt on thurs..

ok..so..heres how my hand looks like...

now of cuz with a casted arm..the bc started calling me...

oh yea..yangguo ftw..lol

ok anw..went for appt and doc said i need to op if nt ill have a disfigured wrist for life..tues going for op..jus 1 day..no need to stayover...after tt my wrist will be healing ok, then go for therapy..

ok la..will update after op!! lol..anyone v brave can give me some of his/her bravery..i really really hate IV(which will be done b4 i go into deep slp fpr the op)..lol..

never knew yr 4 was so busy until i have only posted once in september when there was quite a few events happening too(besides the usual cursing of MH, chui-ing for tuts etc etc)..hahaha... even UC(ultimate challenge) came and went alr! hahaha..of yea..foc pics, abit outdated...didnt really manage to kope alot of pics anw..for some reason no one took plenty and plenty of pics...so i koped what they have then..hahaha

day 2 starts with pool games! and a shot of sebas's sexy back..

UC wasnt as tough as the yrs b4..but of cuz its still tiring..i mean, if 80 kicks x at least 5 set per leg per station isnt tiring then something's wrong..haha.previous yrs had more no of kicks..guess tommy is too nice..haha

well lots of my posts after china were abt tkd..guess im pretty involved..haha..i mean..thinking back i was thinking then at yr1 to run away after a few mths..guess tt nv happened and im still ard..haha

FINALLY AN UPDATEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!! hahaha...sry to those ppl who are reading this blog..chinaman is been(yes bad engrish was on purpose) really busy these past few weeks..of cuz mainly due to tt crappy subject we all call hrm...well more of tt later.. finally have some slight free time to update la..got quite a bit to update..pics will come when im free-er(dun worry...shldnt be 1 mth later! wahaha)

anw yea..to cont on from the posts b4, as u all know im taking a subject called hrm.. which is essentially i feel like it actually can be renamed as "business express 4041" rather than hrm cuz it doesnt really touch on human resource or managing human resource at all..its more on the blue ocean thingy and alot of ppl say on marketing as well(i asked real business and account students on what im doing on..so yea.they say marketing..haha).. the only gd thing is i know half the ppl in class and i know 3/4 (initally) of my grp mates

anw b4 i rant more abt it..there's 4 hrm tutors... 2 hrm tutors tt i nv see b4 i wont talk abt..

well of cuz there's my tutor..

for those who lived in a cave for yrs this guy is called patrick the starfish..no treats or gifts if u managed to guess my tutors name...

anw patrick..ok la..only the 1st 2 grps to present is in peril...he shoots them like no tml..the other 2 grps(total 4 grps in class) are pretty safe..alr had the honour of being the 2nd grp to present and of cuz tio shoot la...but we all think he's alr on the nice side...

and there's the infamous MH, the course coordinator of hrm.. he's well known throughout ntu for striking fear in every hrm student's heart... since MH means alot of stuff and its quite a few ppl's initials tt we know of..ivan and i decided to come up with a new nickname for him

for those who nv plays dota b4..this big guy is called pudge...

of cuz..ivan and i are engineers(or engineers to be..wahahhah) so yea sure got reasons y we call MH pudge

1stly pudge has a skill called meathook, it hooks an unsuspecting foe(or friend) and brings him/her close to pudge... well similarly..MH hooks the unsuspecting student and makes him/her alone face big scary pudge ALONE......(ie..students tend to get shot individually by pudge)

another skill pudge has is the dismember.. his ultimate.. pudge inflicts massive amts of pain to his foe by dismembering him/her.. same goes for the real life pudge for hrm.. he dismembers his foes to bring abt pain they will never forget...

pudge has a skill calls rot too tt does aoe(area of effect..ie one area around him) damage to all foes..the real life one can rot entire teams to their doom...

pudge's name even bring fear to plenty of students..so much so tt even b4 the 1st tut they alr dropped hrm..in hoping pudge will disappear next sem...i highly doubt so though..pudge will never disappear! wahhaah

well hrm aka business express 4041 makes ppl like..do lots of business like task like interviewing companies, asking them abt their value elements and stuff in a v short time..like 1 week..oh..1 week isnt alot..considering the fact tt alot of the coperate companies do not wanna waste time to grant some ntu students interviews....so ntu students has no choice but to change their companies...and start the trying to get an interview.. eventually most make it..but of cuz pudge does and WILL make students redo their stuff cuz well supposedly he's wrong..supposedly la..haha

well tts abt hrm.. fyp leh...cuz of hrm i kinda put it 1 side but now got more time..so im back on it..got slight breakthru..hope all goes well!! wahaha..

oh yea..almost forgot to talk abt the ntu tkd foc! ahahha..well it was a 3d2n camp..up by 1 day from the 1st ntu tkd foc ive atteneded..and..its quite fun! had quite a fun time with the freshies playing all those lame games..yea get wet..too bad i missed teh pool games..hrm meeting lor for a presentation on mon then..I BLAME HRM FOR IT..WAHAHA.. then again..looking forward to UC..i wanna run UC! hahaha..the only time i completed UC was during my yr1..yr2 i had to do log stuff so run halfway i stop alr..yr3 i was in gip..so yea..this time..as crazy as it may sound..i wanna run!! ahaha..

went to watch nationals after the foc too! too bad i missed alot alot of the matches..cuz for some reason or another nationals went by pretty fast...but at least got to see a few gd ones..

the 1st week of schhh..hahaha..nt tt its overly siong or what la..but still the prelude of the sianness and the tons of projs to come..haha..

hrm is as disgusting as all the seniors mentioned..

indiv task: find a company and interview them asking them some qns abt their competitors and their hrm stuff.. also must take pic with senior staff to make sure we dun anyhow smoke prof tt we went to a fake company..

grp task: tog with ur unknown grp members(its all randomed for us..as of the time i am typing this i still dunno who my grp members are) do up a 15min presentation and present the findings of everyone to class...

so much stuff to do, so little time..argh..hahaa..man..some ppl went to hk to do hrm to escape the killer hrm of eee..but..i oso wont go la..tt means missing insinyur..cannot la..ahahah.. we see how la huh..

anw ive done like 2 out of 4 possible tuts!! woohooooo..amazing..hahaha..ive nv felt so hardworking b4..haha

eh..b4 i start blogging/ranting or whatever..must say this 1st.. happy 44th bday sg!!!!!! hahaha.. its national day today..woooo..gonna catch the fireworks later..hopefully i do see them anw..hahha..

well somehow after camp times seriously flies and here we all are, 1 day (excluding today) till sch starts...v fast huh...if dun have the holiday sch would have started tml.. if ntu didnt even wanna match nus's start date i would have started sch a week ago..haha

sch starting..sian diao..ahhaha..1stly.. fyp. ok la...somehow have to juggle the cores+fyp..hoping to really complete as much as i can within the 1st sem so 2nd sem more slack, can do report,ivp(ya..i wanna join..its gg to be my last with ntu.. =((( ), and hopefully balance everything out in the usually more siong 2nd sem...haha.. then er..well 2ndly..got hrm...man...i heard so man bad stories abt tt subject i wonder y the prof havent tio anything yet..hahaha..u all know the reference la huh...nt gg to openly say it here.. see how i survive la huh...think can expect more rants while im doing hrm..haha

well..had a np friendly last fri..dunno y the sudden pop up and all cuz i dun feel even the slightest bit rdy..i mean..ive been at insinyur, slacking, ict..no time to even really train..then pop up this friendly..ok la..i think its jus me..hahaahah.. anw..it went pretty ok..i had tt fear of fighting adrian(the viet ownage fighter tt can pwn anyone) but well..didnt get to spar with him..heng ahhhh! hahaha..mayb this will really make me go cut weight..i mean..im as heavy as him! haha..

oh..well..abt the friendly..i kinda noticed kiat's stance..(which is slightly..erm..unique from most other tkd practioners at least in tkd)..well..kinda reminds me of someone in street fighter 4.. (or for those who dunno kiat..here's how his stance kinda looks like)

jus like tt..5 days jus flashed past by.. haahah.. time flies when u are really having fun.. and yea.. this insinyur was really really really fun and awesome(even though its tiring too)!! hahaha.. kudos to all the main comm who had worked hard for over a yr to plan and excecute this events.. esp to my 4 zai mps and my partner xl who really put in tons of effort to come up with all the fun filled events, games to keep freshies(and of cuz myself) entertained throughout the entire camp and oso lao ban for giving us all so much advice and well..tahaning us at times..hahaha..

as some of u prob know, im alr gg yr4 for ntu, so this will prob be the final insinyur ill be actively invovled in... frankly, there are many a times i was thinking "aiya be SA or what can liao.. like..jus come and play and go" but end up, peer pressure, the fun of organising, thinking and seeing ur games(the entire insinyur) being appreciated and liked by the freshies and nt forgetting the wonderful comm keeps me coming back..for the 3rd time in a row as a committee.. in a way i oso 不舍得 nt being very involved in insinyur liao..but well..i gotta grad right? hahahaha..

this grp of ppl were told tt his way of holding hands will ward of evil and ghosts..well.. obviously it failed..but they held hands this way throughout the walk...

a fact.. ive nv walked fright night with a girl b4..hahaha..yea..serious, my freshie yr got too many guys..so im one of the "lucky" majority tt paired up with a guy to go thru fright night.. and when i was a prog and mp i was involved in scaring freshies..

so this time round..i got to walk thru fright night and with 2 lovely ladies! wahaha, =P.. hl(rhs) screamed in fear throughout the walk while kw(lhs) laughed in fear thoughout the walk..

day 2-- cooking lunch, telematch, mass dance, initiation

well the 3Ps.. cx mentioned it during training yest while teaching me..haha..its a new style..and yea..feels comfortable and gd for me..haha.. had a few gd kicks(on him..im so sry!!) so starting to feel comfortable with tt style a little..mayb after a few training(cuz usually ya..im nt too confident of my own kicks..cx is trying to change tt)..well see how it goes.hahaha... but ya lor..besides tt yest i was more like a sandbag..haha...being like target kicked for the new training vp, then oso slammed by future pres....ahh..i ok..i still like the trainings! haahahah

anw tml is alr insinyur...wooo!! so excited!!! hahahahaaha... ok la..this will be the final yr ill be involved in insinyur as a committee..be it main or sub....yea..likely la..i wont have time anymore i feel.. ya lor..so...this one will definately be enjoyable for all..freshies, sub comm and main comm!! hahaha..we will make it so!! =P.. all my mps are prepared, all events shld be covered for..lets do it!! woohoo

ard the vast space, far far away somewhere out there, there's a war which is abt to start..a war dealing with emoism..only the emoest can survive..

it all began with the high order called icefrog creating a holy relic called "dota"..its much like fire to the 1st humans.. when dota 1st introduced..nt too many ppl used it..but over time..it has gained popularity, usefulness..soon after, every able bodied man/women/children were dotaing...

then came forth another higher being, emoer than sasgay(sasuke for those fangirls) called czy aka "emo god".. emo god created this new religion to be closely used within dota called "emoism".. how to use emoism u say? when u have a larger death than kills in dota, emoism will trigger.. situation depends on diff ppl, some need a big margin, others like the emo god himself jus 1 more death than kill can spark a whole lot of emoism..

emoism works by making u do drastic measures like running into 5 heroes while hallucinating tt 4 other of ur friends are with u till u are abt to get pwned.. the skill called "BLAMING" oso increases by 10 folds..

and now emo god is spreading his religion to all he played with..and it affected this guy alot..the main character of the EMO WARS ep 4 story-- IVAN TANGWALKER..

when one goes down the emo path, there's no turning back... (jus ask sasgay for more details..)

ivan tangwalker resisted emoism on numerous occations esp when emo god has k-d streak of 0-5 and above..until one night..thru emo god's persistant whining i mean preaching, the strongest emo disciple has been born.. after converting to emoism, ivan tangwalker realises the only way thru dota life is emoism.. clad in the blackest(black cuz its emo) emo armour, he renamed himself as.... DARTH EMO

Darth Emo proceeds on to buy a spaceship off ebay created by ntu mae(mech and aerospace engineers) in which he renamed emostar(from the original deathstar) and started laying waste and spreading emoism across galaxies, yes..even aliens do dota..

little does he know...in the near future.. a warrior(who hates veges) will arrive.. tt warrior is called LUKE TANGWALKER.. son of ivantangwalker and princess XL.. the only hope to stop emoism... together with princess lela tangwalker, they have to stop emoism..or can they?

well im back from ict..haha..ok la..i was back since fri, after tt pop by for training(i missed kicking) which..after a while i was tired lorrrrr..blame the lack of 7hrs of slp for the past tues-thurs, had less than 1hr of slp on tues night to wed morning..1 night of recovery 8hr slp wasnt enough!!

hahaa.. anw ict is over..2 weeks , ok la..nt overly tough..but challenging at times..esp during the exercise...i cant say too much here cuz its restricted and all but..out of all the hardships(ive nv changed positions tt many times in my ns life b4) and the lack of slp, i have to say..i really had some fun chionging up the hills with the men again.. and of cuz sharing of all the stories from our perspective(like my exercise spare PC screaming "Y CANT WE BE FRIENDS" and firing his rifle at them enemies..).. partially have to thank our "enemies" for giving us such a fun time too, even though we were like firing and chasing each other like crazy..

and there's more stuff to be happy abt..haha..ok la..to be exact is 2 big events coming right up..

1st one on sat the is "tkd quarantine" event.. it came abt when a few of us had an outing on the 28th june..jus b4 my ict..we wanted to play card games at settlers but due to strong murphy's law settlers was closed in holland v, minds cafe is full in bugis...so argh la... but..we sat down..and brainstormed for the next outing..and lo and behold.. tkd quarantine came abt! hahaha.. end up we asked ntu tkd practioners from all batches tt we still can contact in hopes tt they will come and have fun and eat and ya..eat la..haha.. so..its going to be great!! =D

2nd one is the combined engine camp insinyur!! hahah..its from 19th july- 24th july.. the applicants are selected alr(the most applicants since i dunno when..prob nv this many before), the grps are all up, the seniors camp done(pretty gd feedback i must say) and i think we are almost rdy to go..haha..jus last few minor touchups and loose ends to tie up..so looking forward to it and having fun fun fun!! hahahaha...(and the programmers shirt looks v nice and the main comm one too and aiya most of the shirts!! woooooo..hahahah)

but b4 all these play..haiz..have to go back reserach for fyp..which i was supposed to do now..ya..supposed to..end up blogging..haha..hve to take a break right?? haha..

finally i became less lazy and decided to blog after almost 2 weeks of absence..=P.. ok la..cuz ill be away and cut off from civilisation from 29th june to 10july due to annual ICT(in camp training)..yea 2 weeks..the tougher kind..hope time passes by quickly..(jus dread the 3d2n forest stay though)

anw...last week 18-21st i attended camp sparex, a camp to intro sparring to the jc kids(ok..i tend to call them kids cuz i feel so old among them...man..im like more than half a decade older than them....so old liao hor....hahahah). and i must say..i really really enjoyed myself! hahhaha.. i on abt helping sparex out cuz...well..i was in the 1st sparex comm!! wahahaha..ok la... either way sparex still going strong and yea...now evolved into a 4 day camp liao(last time 3 days..haha)..

oh...b4 i go on..my this yr sparex grp name is........ SHINIGAMI!! hah

last yr i join i still abit noob(ok la..now less noob liao..less noob la..haha)..so i nv really teach too much, but for the last 4 days in camp...this time i teach slightly more and talk until mouth dry and clashed until pain but well..after seeing the jc kids improving like wa..sudd become real fighers alr from the tensed up and over nervous kids the 1st time i saw them spar(sudd they really BANKAI-ed!), and like after they feedback(i overheard in toilet while bathing.. XD) that they really benefitted in the camp..somemore the jc kids like...bought small teddy bears for us and wrote on a nice card and presented to us gls on the last day!!! v v 感动 lor! and some write until oso..wa touching...like totally thank us for everything we taught them(sparring or nt) for the last 4 days..ahaha

im really happy for them la and happy tt they enjoyed themselves as well..hahaha..jus hope ill be able to join again next yr when i grad!! fast la hor..i going to grad alr..ahhaha... anw.. its time for some pics!!(again koped straight from fb so might be LQ..haha)

ok la..im nt overly busy last few days or what la..jus too lazy.. ahhaah.. met prof a while ago abt fyp..he went to brief everyone abt fyp saying we need to start now la if nt will be late all tt... ok lor..i mean..in a way what he said was true.. he want us to submit a gantt chart for our plans for the next 2 sems.. die..hahaha..i barely know what i have to really do for my proj and he wants me to formulate a plan for the next 2 sems?! GG man..GG..ahhahaha.. well actually i have alr done up a chui draft..see how it goes la huh... hahaha.. guess gotta really start learning madlab now.. sianz..haha

ms pro is currently enjoying herself back in shanghai..again.. hahaha.. too bad she cant smuggle coco pmts or pgts back in sg.. =(.. then again i need to cut down on what i eat... hahah..failed my ippt lor...tt single station again..pull ups.. argh! nvm la..2 weeks time will pass! wahahhaha...

anw..watched a v gd nba finals game 4 btw lakers and magic... lakers won in OT anw.. 98-91 if i nv rmb wrongly(yesyes my memory is poor..i jus watched the game like almost 15mins ago only....haha) anw..tt game..for the 1st 2 quarters, magic was pounding lakers, doing everything correctly, execution,passing and defending and leading by 12.. 3rd,4th and during OT, lakers bounced back, nv giving up and eventually winning with 2 dagger 3s by veteran fisher..

and now...im gg to relate this nba game to a game we played yest night...this game..most ppl shld recognise it...and zy..if u are reading this...this is for u..specially..u better read word for word...

ok..let me start off with the nba finals game.. 3rd quarter, lakers trailing by 12 pts, magic was seemingly hot, and a sub called trevor ariza shot 0-6(made 0 out of 6 attempts) in the 1st 2 quarter.. frustration for the laker team even for kobe bryant, their superstar, 3 fouls(a player can only have total of 6 fouls b4 he fouls out from the game) on 2 laker big men odom and brynum.. everything swinging in the magic's favour...

but.. trevor ariza, hungry for the win, didnt give up or F10 E Q in dota terms(aka quit game), even with a 0-6 shooting for the 1st 2 quarters, he shows confidence and drove in for his basket, and later added 2 3s..bringing lakers up to a 2 pt trail. later on in the 4th quarter, his hustle plays, his steals and of cuz along with fisher's 2 dagger 3s brought the lakers the victory, the victory they hunger for...

now..yest night..ok..i mean..the BC plays dota as a casual game.. a game for fun, laughing, bragging to each other in skills and of cuz the occational win.. we arent pros or what..jus playing for fun.. of cuz winning and getting a godlike kill streak is a bonus for everyone.. and one player jus wants tt feel of winning and godlike kill streak way too seriously.. and tts zy aka mr emo.. we gave him tt "mr emo" nick cuz he will go emo and talk abt losing the moment he senses tt we all are getting owned or when he was feeding..yea jus tt...

yest night we were all playing casual dota as usual... 4 friends+1 pub vs 5 pub(public) players.. the 1 pub in our team alr quit halfway..better tt way anw if nt all he does is jus run into enemies and give them free gold.. so left us 4 friends(myself included and zy being one of them). zy isnt doing well having a 0-3 kill-death ratio, im doing well with 5-0, ivan and vic doing fairly well too. but..he hungers to win, he hungers to own and have a godlike streak of his own.. sounds like the nba finals game today right where ariza, who wants to win badly, having a 0-6 shooting goes on with poise and confidence rarely found on subs and carries his team for the lead..but nooo... u know what zy did...

anw..yea..he LEFT THE GAME(aka F10 E Q)... leaving behind vic, ivan and myself to fight against 5 heroes and defend the world stick... and we had a chance to win!! the overall kill death for all was 15-16(us being 15) and the only other person who was owning in the enemy team was an early game hero who will be useful for the 1st 30-40mins or so..after tt the hero will jus be support/tank.. nt completely useless but certainly nt overly effective..

we were all scolding zy after the game.. really zy..like i said.. if u hunger for the win so much, if u really love the feeling of winning and owning even for casual dota games in which we by right shldnt be overly serious abt, then.. if we "seem" to be losing them, u gotta step up ur game! like ariza did today in the finals.. no..he didnt F10 E Q, he carried his team to a lead..in which fired up his teammates and brought them to a win.. he made plays, he pushed, he shot, nt letting his 0-6 shooting bother him at all...

while zy with a 0-3 kill death ratio, with an equal hunger for a win chose NOT to carry his team, instead giving up, quiting and hoping for a win the next time we play.. its nt the 1st time.. its like the 1398359375812390482903842908 times this happened...and yest night was one of the most rediculous one.. i mean.we DID have a chance to win even though it was 4v5..the opponents arent gd at all! zy quit, gave up..he wants to win yes.. but he jus wanna depend on teammates, KS, emo and say nasty stuff when losing or when he thinks tt he's losing, and F10 E Q eventually.. what kinda mentality is this?! if u wanna win, u see ur team losing or getting beat, carry them to victory.. it need nt be scoring (or killing in a dota sense) jus support, make plays, dun give up and NOT PULL THE TEAM TO A LOSS.. gd things will happen.. if we lose so be it! learn frm the mistakes!!

and this is jus a casual dota game..i can take it if he emorages and leave..what abt ur work next time zy? when ur proj runs into probs, or competition is too fierce, u wanna tell ur boss like u wanna F10 E Q out of the proj cuz there's "no point to continue" alr.. man.. wake up...

ok..ranted alot..but really..i do wish zy will change his mentality..as said..dota is jus a game.. i dun care if he emorages and quit.. we all get sian diao..but will forget it later..so what abt ur work? are u gg to pull ur team to destruction the moment u arent getting credit for doing work? or the moment u think the opposition is too strong?

A gd sub fired up his team and brought them to victory taking a 3-1 lead in the nba finals today when all odds were against him... of cuz we dun expect tt miracle to happen everyday even in dota.. but at least..have his mentality..

the team is losing, if u really hunger to win, then do smth urself, carry the team to victory instead of quitting and hoping for a win..

yeayea..but pretty busy during this holiday..ok la..nt so much until everyday nt at home or what la..but still busy enough..hahaha..but argh!! its alr 1 mth gone from the holiday!! gasp!!! hahaha

hmm...recap of what ive done..or what i can rmb after like finding out abt exam results.. lol...

went for main comm chalet right after knowing results to like..vent out..u know..hahaha..ok la..nv vent out..only drink alittle bit only.. but wenhui almost wanted to kill me by like mixing 95% vodka and 5% 7-up..gd thing i didnt drink much of it if nt i wont last past the 6hr meeting!! woo..hahahaha.. yea..the longest meeting i ever had so far..i think the 2nd closest was one i had for tkd jus b4 uc..tts ard 5hrs long..hahaha.. 6hrs long discussing impt camp stuff..but hey.... camp will be gd!! hahaa..discuss so long sure zai one...somemore got zai ppl ard..hahahah

then train here and there on tues and fri..survived most of what shifu can throw..but shifu said this is jus the beginning..wa sianz..hahaha

then went to angie's 21st bday!!! hahaha.. ive gotta say i tot it would be a much more ppl attend event..but hey... its still really gd! hahaha.. gotta catch up with a few ppl at the yr3 and above table and well..gd food too! ahhaah..ate quite a few ermm...how do u call it... "round pieces" of cake..hahaha

there's the cake..unique huh..hahaha..nt the usual rectangular stuff most ppl are used to seeing..haha.. those individual er...round pieces are what we ate... tot it was some engineering marvel tt enabled the cake to stand..well actually got a cardboard or some kinda cone in the center to hold it up.. haha

then jus today....its sending the netherlands fighter wong back home! haha..more 感动 event la... well 1 person did cry.... but yea..it was really fun having him ard..ill nv forget the kick he gave to my head! wahahahahaha... next time ppl upload pic ill kope and upload as well..hahaha

haha..yest night was the release of the exam results.... v fast hor.. its like 1 mth into holiday only then the prof all mark finish ard..super scary.. haha.. anw..aiya..i deprove by abit...jus a little bit.... ok la...a bit sad oso..ahahah tot i can improve.... =(.. but really jus drop by abit. 0.02 pts only....hahahaha but ahhh.. need to work hard next sem man... no choice liao.. last 2 sems! rawr!!!!!!!(guess tt means less dota too..haha)

anw..ms pro or dr lee as she proclaim tts her future title, has done v v v v v well as usual.... she keep saying tyco but no la..cannot tyco until 4-5 As one leh.. ahhaah...tts y she's ms pro, the name given isnt fake ok!! hahaha..pro until alot of As.. hehe.. now i has formulated william's 2nd law liao..hahah

hahaha..i cleared mgs3..and went back to play mgs2..so mayb i could understand all the twists and the la-le-lu-lei-lo crap tt ppl from mgs2 were spewing out..and of czu the obsure stuff ocelot was talking abt in mgs2..haha.. but i must say..mgs3>>>>mgs2 in any sort of way..definately, in terms of realism, fun, music and boss fight..

one of my favs for vid games are the boss fights.. cuz they arent ur run-in-the-mill or the tranq-his-head/sneak-ard-and-choke kinda enemy u see ard..they really make the game fun and the user to think+react quickly.. well..and a fat enemy tt plants bombs(fatman..mgs2) and moves ard in skates doesnt really appeal to me compared to a flamethrower wielding crazy astronaut complete with jetpacks(the fury, mgs3)...well.. those are the kinda bosses in mgs2 and mgs3..hahaha. the end was a really gd boss battle(annoying too esp when he keeps healing and u cant find him..)

mgs2..its still a great game..but v old now

mgs3..which is total pwnage.. recommended for all to try, esp those who loves action/stealth games, its abit old now though..haha(i feel like im advertising..hahah)

well enough abt comparing vid games.. talk abt reality liao..hahaha.. i luckily managed to change some of the dates for my RT..if nt it will really suck cuz ill miss out some v impt stuff..(like on 31st may..tts pretty impt..hahah) and of cuz some of sparex as well... oh yea..did i mention ill be gg back to help sparex..hahaha..gotta help them out.. have to make sparex successful since when we all started(or were sort of given the idea to start) it.... this time its 4days(*gasp!) long.. im sure it will be fun..hahaha

and i heard exam results out this fri?? i dunno..am i correct? i hope nt!! hahaha..i wanna enjoy more of my holidays without knowing i suck at this exam papers..hahahaha.. but sianz...im gg to miss 75% of the main comm chalet cuz of RT... T.T

training was gd last week...super mega tiring though..shifu on fire man... kick oso like almost endless like tt..haha.. even at the last few sets of pushups i oso buai tahan alr... knees keep touching ground..hope no one saw tt man..so paiseh..hahahah.. but looking forward to trainings! hahaha..esp supper after tt..=P

Imagine that someone calls you in the middle of the night, without much difficulty you can identify who is the caller and express your unpleasantness receiving such a call. The distinctive features of a person’s voice enable us to verify the caller identity. Such capability can be incorporated into machine, which will be useful for access control to building, access to personal computer, network, or even phone banking. The main focus of this project is to design a speaker verification system using MATLAB. The students will get to learn latest voice-print techniques and hands-on programming experience using MATLAB. Guidance will be provided to familiarize the student to basic speech processing technology and MATLAB programming. The students may also have the opportunity to involve in systematic collection of speech samples from reliable sources to “train” the algorithm. This project focuses on generative approach (e.g. Gaussian mixture model) to speaker modeling.

Pre-requisite: Programming, Digital Signal Processing theory.

but hor..we all worry for ming na la.. y leh? i mean..out of 10 ppl there, 9 ppl heard her said she's landing at "destroyed airport" when its supposed to be "detroit airport"(the one who heard correctly is ming na herself).. well imagine her telling locals "im going to destroyed airport" then GG liao.. straits times will have the article "SGEAN GIRL GOES TO JAIL AFTER ADMITTING SHE WANTS TO DESTROY AIRPORT."

and she has problems pronouncing Los Angeles(Last Angeles anyone?? in which we kinda taught her to say LA--then again i might have misspelled the place..haha) and more words and...wanting to ask how to go las vagas in chi...gd..she's gd..ahhaha.. among other things crystal bought her a guide book in the US..mayb what ming na really needs is an electronic dictionary tt pronounces words(yes evil i know)..hahahaha.=P

these few days been playing an old but still equally as epic game.. mgs3.. im quite an MGS fan(been playing mgs1-3!! ) too bad mgs4 is on ps3..but ill play it one day!! muahaha.. one thing tt impresses me and what i feel tt seperates mgs from the other action games(besides its gripping storyline) is due to its realism.. u cant find many games as realistic as this.. from minor details like tranq rounds appearing sticking out enemies at exactly where u shot them to like shooting enemies radios actually prevents them from calling backup, ability to interrogate enemies by pressing knives(or the X button,i think..usually i jus tranq the guards or slam them to dizziness..hah, lightly after grabbing them from behind..any harder u will slit their throats..) against their throat..man how cool is tt? hahaha

oh..another thing tt really great abt mgs is the cutscences... and.. the reason y the motion of the cutscenes are so realistic is cuz they based off actual motion from ppl... check out this vid from youtube... check out the guy in the last 1 min..and u tot when ocelot spins his revolvers its jus all computer...

hahah..later gg to the 1st training in the holidays..wonder how many ppl will turn up..hopefully got more! hahaha

hahha..finally im back to update....quite a few things happend..and i gamed like crazy oso..u know esstentially slack la..hahah

anw last sat i went to the beach..... ok for beach games trial..hahaha... weather was hot, sand was hotter but well.. the whole trial games thing went well..gd to say.. though some games werent tried out but i got faith in the 2mps la huh..hahaha..i think kinda slacker cp jus stand there ensure everything is ok and supervise can alr...lololol....

think highlight of the beach games(ok la..at least the most fun laughing at others..yea yea...sadist or 幸灾乐祸 or whatever..haha) was the spongebob game... 1st must throw a dice with all sorts of body parts on it.. and the girl and guy have to put the body parts tog la, with a sponge in btw and run to the beach, get it wet, and run back(with the sponge in btw the same body parts earlier) and fill a water bottle with water... of cuz most water wins.hahah

there..the dice tt determine's the freshies(soon la) fate..for now its for the gls and programmers

and thurs night...went to jb with some of my tkd friends..hahaha.. fun! watched sniper

and its nt bad la! ahhahaa.. the title sounds v cliche army type movies..but this one does depict what actual ops and how sniper really works(nt jus a solo guy running ard shooting ppl to his hearts content..) though..of cuz like movies..they snipe with cool sunglasses and latest trend civi clothes(yea...movies..u know..haha). but they way they work and do stuff is excatly like special ops, except for the v last scene which looks more like counterstrike real life..but their face pant IS for indoor ops..the splitter face paint..hahah

and of cuz after tt ate supper...food was jus soso but well..the company is gd..hahaha(will upload pics once they are out!!)

and now for fyp woes.... wa lao.. ppl really kiasu man..all kope prof alr...and my gpa cmi one..so abit harder for me la..hahaha... well..i emailed 3 profs alr..one of them most prob reject due to my chui cgpa.. see the other 2 how la huh.. hahahah

cant wait for training again...tues and fri night sure are boring without them..haha

cant stop screaming for joy!!!! FREEDOMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM!!!!!!!!!! RAWRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! after days of buring midnight oils, forcing myself to slp by watching online lects, and yea..forcing myself nt to slack..i can slack without guilt!! =)

so far..been dotaing and listening to the new sf4 osts i dled.. for an old sf fan like me..the remixes are like... brings back the memories of the glory days of sf2 and sftnc(when i sit down in arcade and pwn coms and humans alike) guile's, cammy's theme rox big time, ken's one is nt bad too.. abel's theme is surprisingly gd too.. sakura's catchy..ryu's the same old one but slightly cooler this time round..haha

cant wait for the pc version of sf4 to come out..right now im only chionging arcade versions and getting pwned by way stronger human players.. lack of practise ok! (guile always ftw man! who needs special moves when 2 is enough to pwn most characters...)

will be back with more updates soon..this weekend will be a busy one..gg to sentosa for insinyur beach game trial..hahaha

muahahaha..im back...and so far i think i has survived the 1st 4 papers..and only 1 left..which is on next tues..hahahah..ok..recapping(and ranting) on the papers ive done..

1st up..the morale breaker aka EE3003- INTEGRATED ELECTRONICS
Basically as expected the paper really sucked...1st qn was easy..surprisingly..but way too easy to warrant the marks..i jus feel smth fishy is gg on esp the 1st qn..usually past yr paper tt kinda qn is worth like..7-10 marks..now its 15marks..jus dun believe our prof will be that kind... well moving on, i had no idea what the $#*@ 2a is talking abt..3 lines and 10marks...with virtually almost no direct info(its all hidden in btw the lines so the engrish teachers love to say..) so 2a was left blank, qn4..i forgot the eqn which was needed to solve the qn..enuff said..

2nd paper EE3001-- ENGINEERING ELECTROMAGNETICS
Paper was doable...very very very doable...though i made plenty of careless mistakes and overlooks...too many to count..argh!!! totally wasted man..shld have at least mayb reread the qn b4 doing 75% and realising its wrong with no time to turn back..T.T

3rd paper EE3012-- COMMUNICATIONS PRINCIPLE
%^!^$%^$!&^*!*!)()!( qn 1!!!!! its a QAM qn...well i roughly know how to handle..but this qn chu pattern..potientily modulating 4 diff signals when i only tot its 2....i dunno what i wrote or did..all i know is im wrong la..hahaha..besides tt..the rest of the paper...hmmm..okok la...but i made some careless again..i mean..i tried working the working out at home with notes and ample time..then i realise like...wa shit...so many mistakes...hahaha...jialat....

4th paper EE3002-- MICROPROCESSORS
paper was ok la....average..but abit tricky...man... 2 devices used instead of the usual 4 threw some ppl off and well..they wrote 4 cuz they nv used 2 b4(lucky i didnt fall for tt trick)...i forgot the negate function for assembly language..crap..-10 marks.... and qn4b the descriptive qn...i have no idea how to describe/draw a diagram for it..damn....i hope my smoke screen is jus strong enough...15marks man...

well i got 1 paper left...com communcations..supposedly its easy..but i still shldnt underestimate it..hahah..but..u know...i havent studied for it yet..lol

and and...one more thing...... tt made me happy today...haha.... i passed the grading!! =D

ah yea...1 last thing..ms pro went castless today..hahah..gd for her..=P

the once a week blogger is back!! for a while..hahaha..after taking a 1hr break earlier i decided to extend it by another 10mins..blame intertia..hahaha..

anw..yea..exams are jus 1 day away!! gasp! and im taking them in decreasing lvl of difficulty... well.. in a way tts gd..but.. 1st paper will immediately kill my morale.. haha.. so...well i might jus rant online if the exam didnt go the way i want it..hahaha

oh yea...im taking exam on almost the same days as june..hahaha..so qiao lor... almost la..jus 1 day diff..but start same day end same day.. and same days for 2 other papers..haha... if only im tt zhun in buying toto..then no need work liao..wahahhahaha..

looking forward to after exams... getting rdy to get pwned by 3003(INTEGRATED ELECTONICS)... come on differential amps, bootstrap, NM, transfer functions and whatever my puny RAM can rmb, bring it on!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1111 haha

i won gold at the cks cup!!!!!!!!

yea right...happy belated april fools! hahaha..

no i really didnt win gold..i got 4th instead..but then again..even though i lost my bouts..ive really learnt smth in terms of sparring and know which direction i wanna go.. thanks to my 2nd coach captain CX for really pointing me to the right direction(in terms of sparring), telling me what i can do, what i shld improve on and those motivating words..hahaha

anw..exams are like how many? 10 (insert explesive here if needed) days away!!! *gasp*! argh!!!!! ok la..im starting my 1st one today..but this one nt academic.. this one tkd..hahaha... im gg for grading on a sat(tkd practisioners shld know what this means...) and yea..hopefully it will be my last grading for a while to come.. actually..im more scared of basic kick and the sparring leh.. hopefully they give me friendly opponents to spar with..ive heard stories tt ppl do get ko-ed during grading.. >_<

well..academic exams wise..i kinda feel totally unprepared..ok la..im oso to blame cuz i nv regluarly study but then ah..oso too many stuff to study at one go..and the 1st paper is the most killer of all subjects this sem- INTEGRATED ELECTRONICS!! best way to lift our morale up for the rest of the papers lor... looking forward to the end of exam(28th april) then after tt more stuff to do, like PAs, insinyur and well..slacking..hahaha

ms pro is doing fine.her cast has shrank... to something..more cute..which looks like a shoe..but she has to crutch to exam halls..which kinda sux la i guesss...

庆功宴!! (qing gong yan aka victory dinner)

wooo..back from the 庆功宴(qgy) aka the victory dinner..hahaha... this yr's qgy was held at sakura international at the orchard shopping center there.. food..was..ok la..soso.. sushi was ok, sashimi was ok, some of the clip dishes(the ones u have to put ur clips up on) was ok oso..the desserts were quite gd, the durian puffs, ice cream and cakes.. the cooked food, was jus abt average to cmi..really..hahaha.. though i hardly tasted the cooked food..well..its jus..unappealing la..then doesnt looks nice.hahahah...

but hey..whats more impt was the company itself! ntu tkd u all jus rox! hahaha.. had lots of great fun with my ojang grp, the other fighers and pattern team members and ntu tkd itself! hahaha... talking la, speculating la, gaying la(nt me lor..its ppl wanna gay me but i dun want!! hahahah), whatever crazy things tt we do..hahaha

nearing the end..shifu presented a nice calendar to all coaches and AIs..haha.. yea..i was really touched.. of cuz a large factor of the great times being an ojang AI is due to the other zai AIs and the v v nice team members tt i have as well.. hahah..(ojang outing here i come!!).. so much tt when they all say tt wanna be AI.. yea..i felt like a proud teacher watching their students graduating.. they really have came v far..from being someone tt..doesnt know how to do side kicks or for some even proper low blocks to zai members tt is gold standard and now ready to teach ppl.. there's a saying tt when u are able to teach smth u have alr mastered it.. my grp has mastered ojang..its time for them to pass it on..hahah... so philosophical!! hahahahah.. but im really happy for them! =)

unfortunately ms pro injured herself quite seriously so she cannot attend this qgy =(
but well.. next yr's qgy then!!

庆功宴 is translated as victory dinner in engrish.. but the individual chi phrase can be broken down into 庆，功 and 宴. 庆 is to celebrate, and 宴 is dinner.. but 功 is abit special.. it doesnt mean victory, rather it means hard work as in 功劳.. so 庆功宴 is a celebration for the hard work put in as well.. doesnt matter if it results in a victory, as long as hard work is put in, there is always a 庆功宴.

sry for the late updates..hahah... the lainbow(rainbow) post like 10 days or so alr..hahha.. but busy la..toc then after tt 2 quiz and a ton of assignments! argh! haha.. anw updates on the last few days..including 27th feb to 1st march where i felt the great ntu tkd spirit yet again..which is one of the reasons tt kept me in ntu tkd for so long..haha

27th feb-toc pattern competition.. seriously couldnt slp for almost the entire night b4.. ok la..did stuff for my team until 2am..then after tt still online till 4am..cuz worried leh..hahaha.. then like slp until 9am then woke up lor.. met my team for breakfast.. can see my entire team like all put on eyeshadow lor..tt means they didnt slp well yest night..ok la..after breakfast, light training, mst then yea..time to pattern liao..

*for those who dunno pattern are a standard set of moves done by belts of all levels for grading and of cuz performances..each belt from yellow to black has 8 sets of different patterns

eejang and sajang did really really well..then its ojang turn..wa lao..worried all the way la.. our team is the 16th/18th team to perform.. then later i scared like rachel off balance la, forget pattern la, alan stiff la, thanh do minor mistakes until jialat la.. aiyo..keep worrying..but told myself to trust my team..after all..they are zai..haha.. turns out.. during the semis and finals(got 2 stages of pattern) ojang was 1st throughout!! hahaha.. zai zai! im v v happy for my ojang team! until jus b4 gathering to collect medals i started T.T... i v crybaby hor? ahha..but ya la..too happy for my zai ojang team! =) champions!

28th feb, 1st march--sparring.. those 2 days are the sparring days for the toc..i sparred on the 1st march.. eh ok la..i did have 2 firsts...haha.. well i did win my 1st match as an official brown belt.. well i oso had my 1st 0-7(tko) lost..hahahahah..ok la..the 2nd opponent i lost to was an experienced guy.. and he was too quick! ok la..excuse..but hey..ill train up to be better than him..haha.. well for winning 1 round i got bronze! wahahaah...

after ojang training on wed 26th feb.. we saw a rainbow over src..in fact 2 rainbows.. think the rainbow spanned across the entire sg cuz i got some friends who was rainbow sighting too..anw..its really beautiful! 2 rainbows man! haha

yes.. 7 days to toc/ivp/ntu open! ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.. hahahaha.. well i dun feel v prepared.. ok la..my ojang team is prepared alr..but i dun feel prepared for my sparring..even though im kinda excited for it... see how it goes i guess..

plenty of piling tuts, late night trainings and suppers after tt kinda defined my past 2 weeks... yea.. had school performance today... ojang did nt bad..but still room for improvement la imo..esp on the balancing and the kan cheong issues..but we'll have to try correct tt asap..

earlier on tues though some senior who was claimed to be a ref commented (to our overall in charge who passed the msg) to me tt like..my ojang 1st step was done differently.. wa.. shocked la. nt tt i resist tt change or what..but i jus dun understand the prob cuz currently mine jus sound like a slightly faster version of the correct one! hmmm..will see how it goes....

argh..recess week is gg to be fully packed..

oh..flashing back.. on vday...well..i went to my friends house..all guys la.. had a really filling dinner though.really really filling..chilli crab rox! hahaha

and the title says it all..ahhaha..last 2 weekends were so busy tt ya..the time i spent at home in total amounts to abt 1 day.. but its 4 days(2 sets of sat&sun) u say..how come can spend so little time at home....so well..lets recap the activites ive done during the last 2 weekends...

26th-27th jan-- the 1st set of fri and sat.. spend almost these 2 days outside at padang ard there.. for what else man..chingay!! hahaa..eh..but i nt go there see and slack and watch fireworks man..i go there canvass and work ok..hahaha.. stand there bai swee and morphing into mobile road directory when the situation calls for it.. but my place in the chingay area quite slack la..nt too many ppl ard.. so got to watch abit of chingay as well.. 2nd night..was the long and tiring one.... after chingay got the afterparty thingy.. which lasts until like..2am.. and we still have to stand there and watch ppl dance..(my area the line dance section lor..nt the clubbing section).. watch ppl line dance!! argh!! sianz ah.... ahhaha.. at least cuz im sector ic im walking ard abit..but still...sianz leh.. lol.. but like 1245am got the main comm lou hei..which, well food was wasted on ppl and later ard 1+am tt time the organisers allow us to relac abit by letting us join in the dance.. so.. yea.. we line danced

eh but line dance nt easy man... even when i tot my footwork shld be quite okok due to tkd ah.. no lor.. the ah pek ah mm legs all move damn fast and agile la.... of cuz dancing diff from tkd ma.. but still..even when moving and coordinating, ah pek's legs>>>>> mine... sadded.. cant even follow properly thru like half of the line dance..hahah..oh yea..did i mention i reached home at 4am?

28th jan-- sun.. go relative house a while for lunch..then trained ojang, with a equally tired cj, in sch liao..then stay in sch.. wa..wraps up a really busy weekend for tt week

7th feb-- sat.... well didnt go home on fri cuz sat damn early in the morning got the nus exchange(tkd).. so took train then cabbed down to nus with a few ntu tkd ppl i met at the boon lay interchange.. then after tt kick here kick there and kena kick everywhere, went back to ntu to wait to train my ojang team again.. after tt..finally went home for dinner and spend some quality time at home.like finally... well jus abit till sun morning

8th feb-sun.. left house at like 10am.. reached ntu by 11am..but the rest of ojang is late..=(.. sun is the sch performance for all pattern teams+ the sparfest.. well sparfest is jus a draw lot+sparring session.. basically we draw lots..and so we can end up fighting against anyone and everyone present.. be it guy, girl, trans, white belt, black belt, 8th dan black belt(but no 8th dan seen during the spar fest).. and oh...talk so much abt my ojang team..but i nv show pics to the readers..hahah.. so here they are!

sparfest.. 1st opponent is the CAI man...omg..hallelujah(how however u spell)..sianz lor.. ok la..he hit me pretty hardly quite a few times.. i tot i jus poked him..but..hey..it was 2-3(im the 2 of cuz..haha).. after tt sparred with eo..ok la..tried what i set out to try on the mat..and was satisfied.. went home for 2hrs..b4 dinner and coming back hall again... argh.... time spend at home really was short.....

still got lots of stuff to do..2 reports and training my ojang team... and this weekend..weigh in!!! i hope im still in my weight cat..even after feasting thru the 15days of cny..hahahah
